Also heard a rumour surrounding Forza Horizon sequal with regards to a trademark that MS filed for Forza Vista. If its true then next gen open world Forza?? Yes please! Well as a racing genre fan im pretty much catered for now, just need to hear PGR5 ;)

Screens look far better then the footage imo. Kinda wanted PGR5 tbh. Something we haven't seen for a while.

In 19 days there is a E3 Microsoft Conference that will be two hours and gaming centric.

Then they should have shown forza then, and shown PGR5 today.

What does it matter, if they showed PGR5 today but waited on Forza 5 people would equally complain.

Just grow some patience and wait 19 days... bottom line neither game comes out for half a year more anyway.

Why do people think there is a PGR5? I thought that franchise was dead.

oh I see. I would love to see another PGR.

I would actually like to see a racer where the locations are more interesting & "alive", rather than just static race tracks.

Would you be able to find out Game2k why all the videos from the event are 720p please? You would think that Forza 4 would be running in 1080p native. Oh dear, must be the GDDR3 graphics I guess.
For example even all the current Assassin Creed IV trailers are been released in native 1080p.

@FordGTGuy And today's event was for "the new generation console" and failed to impress on every single level. Why be fooled again instantly?
Everything was building up to today and now everybody is just saying "no no no they said they will show us everything at E3, wait until then". No

No way thats real-time, it rapes DriveClub. That metalic paintjob alone... bring back PGR!

You can't go wrong with a racing game to show off those graphics. I'm too excited for E3.

That's what I said and I got blasted on Verge + Polygon today lol :D. Surely the detail in this game is quite staggering.

I really, really don't understand these kind of statements, both from today and from the PS4 reveal? I've been reading them all day, especially where Fifa is concerned. "EA up to their old tricks showing CGI blah blah blah!" Why wouldn't that be real time? Of course it's real time. The cars in FM4 look incredible, running on a hardware that is over 8 years old. The new systems would eat and shit the current ones 8 times or more over. You'd think all that extra juice would be put to use somewhere, right? If games look pre rendered now, it's because the line between what was then regarded as CGI 8 years ago has now become blurred because the hardware now is capable of running all those assets and features in real time. Mad, I know. What's even madder is that this is a very early release title, and as such will look like shit in a few years down the line. 60fps looking like this? Believe it.

Hell, if these screens and the footage are legit, I think that can put to rest concerns over power. Hell, even if it ends up a bit weaker than the PS4( we'll see, as this does look better than Drive club, IMO), it will still be excellent...

Screens always looked good. This look more like pgr, grid2 with all the drifting and the chase video.

When I used to have PC I played everything on it except exclusive games on PS2. 90% games are multiplats. Owing multiple console makes no sense because one of them will only sedomly used and collect dust.

Looks pretty impressive, indeed. Raina, owning multiple consoles makes a lot of sense if you aren't fortunate enough to have all the games you desire be on the same exact platform, which honestly hasn't come anywhere close to being the case for me since the PS2. There's games on different platforms that appeal to me a great deal, so I find it impossible to stick to a single console.

Whole reveal was a big disappointment for me, even stuff like this flagship title only showed pre-rendered cinematics.
