Will the story reach the "quality" of the stories of the games?

But seriously they should make a new NG with the kind of gamedesign and gameplay I fell in love with in NGB, but this time with giant robots and zombies and the artdirection of this comic. Fuck the story. Just forge the most nonsensical and ridiculous plot so it gets you to places. Voilà, a masterpiece.

Which has nothing to do with Ninja Gaiden other than Ryu being in it and you gotta fight him.
Gameplay looked bad from the demos i seen.

Lol looks like you are in the 1% on that one. Ninja gaiden on Xbox was one of the highest rated games of that generation for its looks too, not just it being one of the best action game of all time.

I don't think it will be better than Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

Yaiba: NG Z - surely looks sick!
Though... The feeling i got from that 'War Military base' Stage on DoA5 - Same Feel I get now with 'Zombies' in [Yaiba] - Which is that T.N is using familiar west world imagery to approach more gamers. Its not a bad thing considering how JP games do in US and EU but I'm afraid it will still be overshadowed by the next Gen Buzz! I will buy it when is out - still though I can't compare it to any other NG as this concept is entirely different.

What does technical achievement have to do with style?

NGS2 was made by Hayashi which was a rehash from Itagaki's game NG2...so no, it definitely wont be anywhere near as good as an actual Ninja Gaiden game.
This looks to be more like a over the top comedy action type and the only reference to NG is that you will fight Ryu (dont count on him to die, or lose).

Interms of style its your generic comic book style action game with a ninja, remove the title and Ryu and its another ninja action game that looks average at best, thats what i got from all the demo vids from the gaming events.

NGB and Sigma 2 (remake or not, even a remake can be messed up) all day.

This game has nothing to do with NG IMO. It's a spin.off, sure, but why calling it Ninja Gaiden then? Yeah becasue trademakrs sell. Anyways. As a big NG fan I don't think I will get this one.

i couldn't disagree more tbh. plastic looking character, crap art. good game though, and technically solid, but fuck it was horrible to look at.

I expect that opinion from you, but I'm glad the over whelming majority of ppl were able to appreciate its beauty as well as gameplay. It's certainly one of the best looking games from that generation and ran so smooth it was a joy to play.

The art of NG started to look like complete shit as series continued, started with NG2, atleast NGS2 had a fair to be more colorful than NG2 was, but then the shit happened...NG3.

The developers should stick to making fantasy elements more into NG and not some stupid high tech/soldiering garbage with guns and missiles with modernized levels with subminimal fantasy stuff in it, theres no creativity in there, might s well call it Strider Gaiden or something.

I would rather look at Otogi 1 and 2 from Xbox than NG games.

Forgot about otogi. Ninja gaiden black was spectacular, NG sigma for ps3 as well but after that it all went to hell lol. But for the limits of the hardware NG for Xbox was visually great art and all. It wasn't trying to be overly artistic and I'm glad that would have been an awful idea.

They need a damn new art director thats about it, the current one they have is complete shit, same goes to their idiotic DOA games.
When you see what they do with DOA art and their priority being the girls then you know where they are going with the company.

Team Ninja was my top fav company from start of NG2, but then they took a piss all over the NG franchise from there and now I hate them, especially this Hayashi director lol

it was one of the best looking games...technically. i've not said anything to go against that. it just looked like shit artistically. but given art is subjective, it's a bit of a pointless debate. which makes the "i expect that opinion from you" comment even more hilarious.

I don't think you got my joke about expecting that from you then...
The most hilarious comment is that a game going for a more realistic "look" has "shit" art style. Seriously...

I have NGS2 and could and on very early par of game could not pass the lord budda type statue, if I remember. I got frustrated and deleted the game from HDD. I hope this game to be more fun.
