Zombi, the Wii U title released in 2012, will hit digitally PC, PS4 and Xbox One on August 18 has announced Ubisoft.

UBISOFT® REANIMATES ZOMBI FOR PLAYSTATION®4, XBOX ONE AND WINDOWS PC

Acclaimed Survival-Horror Game Is Back To Frighten More Players Starting August 18, 2015

SAN FRANCISCO, USA — July 30, 2015 — Today, Ubisoft® announced the development of ZOMBI, an update to the acclaimed survival-horror game, coming as a digital download for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC starting August 18, 2015.

After being one of the Wii U™ flagship titles in 2012, ZOMBI returns to challenge gamers on multiple new platforms to find out how long they can survive in the dilapidated, infected London. For the second time in history, a great plague has shrouded the city in a fog of death and thousands have died, or worse, been infected by a sickness more gruesome than death. Once again, this fear-fueled first-person shooter invites all players to dive into the horror, chaos and tension found in the best of the genre. The nail-biting survival experience has been optimized for PlayStation®4 system, Xbox One and Windows PC, using the power of the latest generation of hardware to bring gamers to a new level of horror.

Players will experience the original oppressive and intense elements that made ZombiU so innovative. The bug-out bag is a necessary component for survival for each player as it contains all the player’s tools, inventory, first aid kits and maps, and more. With Permadeath, players are faced with a death mechanic that puts them in the body of a different survivor each time they die. In order to retain the equipment they previously gathered in their bug-out bag, they are forced to track down their old, infected character. Should players risk it all to get their bag back or start scavenging anew?

I heard this was a pretty good game. Now that it's on platforms people own and where they buy more than only 1st-party games, it should do much better.

"There it is."

I knew Ubisoft would make a use of a game that didn't sell well the first time. Specially with all the re-releases trend. Now we just gotta wait for Assassin's Creed: Rogue as a standalone or part of a bundle for PS4 and XBO.

Believe!

So, the same exact graphics... and no WiiU Gamepad (The core element of the whole experience) I think it will be half funny to play it with an ordinary gamepad, but, will see...
I enjoyed the WiiU version so much, scary and a great experience, thanks to the wise Gamepad-based gameplay

Looks interesting, this game in particular though received great ratings because of how well it worked with the WII-U controls. Without them this game would probably feel like Dead Island or Left 4 Dead.

No. Much slower paced. Its more like the souls games....With or without the novelty controls.

Lol, it's the first time i've ever held back purchasing a new console. I bought the eldest lad an Xbox One and the games look absolute tosh. This on the otherhand was really good on the U but came in to it's own using it's pad.

I hope one day I will play a Zombie Horror video game on the same level as Lucio Fulci's "Zombie" film. If you haven't seen that film, you MUST see it! It was soooo much ahead of it's time!

Largely the same i'd guess. A non paused inventory to retain the tension of searching your backpack. Non gimmicky sniping/scanning. And real time map viewing. Combat etc will be usual fps affair.

I believe we already have played such a game, seeing that the original Resident Evil was based off of his work.
