Latest Installment of the Armored Core Franchise Confirmed for Release in North America.

SEGA of America, Inc. today announced that it will publish Armored Core 4, the newest addition to FromSoftware's mech-based combat franchise, Armored Core. From the developers of the acclaimed title Chromehounds, Armored Core 4 is scheduled for release on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system, in spring 2007.

"FromSoftware is a very talented team that specialize in developing mech-based combat games," said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. "Building on the success of Chromehounds, we believe that Armored Core 4 will deliver an action-packed experience that will not only cater to the diehard fans, but will attract new fans to the mech-based combat genre."

Armored Core 4 is scheduled for release on Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION 3 system in spring 2007.

Famitsu article covered only PS3 version so many thought 360 version was cancelled.

So is the 360 version being released in Japan aswell ?

Or is this another Resident Evil 5 fiasco ? (assuming the rumours are true regarding that)

I'm thinking if this is the case, then MS may aswell pack up and go home in Jepang.

One time its confirmed, then rumours says its cancelled, then it gets reconfirmed then it gets cancelled and now its confirmed again.
Do they know what the hell they are doing? Are they gonna make it or not? And cant PS3 fanboys shut up and dont make up rumours all the time, make me mad.

HOw about we trade it in for DMC4 :P. Personally, I couldnt care less about the game coming to the Xbox360.
