Yeah I read about that. Hopefully MS reccomendations at Gamefest had some influence.

Now that I have a hdtv, that game makes my 360 freeze. I doubt the update will fix that issue !

lol great they bring an update out a month AFTER i completed the game and cant continue to play it after the end, niiiice.

This is good news. I had been holding out on buying the game (even though I really wanted it) because I had heard about several of the issues. Now they are fixed, I guess it is time to finally pick it up. I'll have to nab it sometime this week.

if you enable the "Gameplay" V-Sync option, it feels like a PC game. It slows down noticeably . . ... way to go, Volition

But is it just me or do the textures look different (sharper) than before?

If you think turning on vsync during gameplay reduces framerate to much just turn it off again, doh! I also have it on only for cutscenes.. The textures aren't better, it's probably just the 4xAA that makes the game look better for you.. The 4xAA does it for me on my SDTV, way less aliasing, much better..

And yes being able to turn on or off vsync is a 1st for any consolegame afaik.. As a PC-gamer I welcome these options, but I doubt the average consolegamer knows what vsync is or does though, even the average PC gamer doesn't know.. All we need now is the option to set things like the ammount of AA ourselfs.. It's all indeed more & more like PC-gaming.. :P

oh my god, and I thought I wasn't allowed to turn it off again (sarcasm again, like in my post above).

But seriously, what's the point in implementing this option, if the engine can't handle it?
