It's been a long time coming but Okami was released today in europe and landed a brill 10/10 on Eurogamer. I thought these two bits of excellent happenings warranted a thread for further gushing over its awesomeness.

EG Okami review.

I'll be off to pick me up a copy tomorrow.

I need to play this. There are a couple of PS2 games I want to pick up before I forget. The God of War games, Okami, and God Hand, mostly.

It seems like the worst timing to close down Clover what with the Wii picking up speed. They seem to be super capable of making cheap/awesome looking games on old hardware that are truly unique for a niche/hardcore market, and the Wii would be such an awesome fit. They could work from within the wardrobes of Capcom or summat. :(

I want to beat FFXII. Before I die, so hopefully no rush :).

One day I'm gonna play Okami, and Bully. Two games I probably would've been playing if I didn't own a 360 or have a Wii.

Im sucked into God of War at the moment alternating with FFx and Dragon Quest bt I'' be picking up this and FF12 when it comes out .....

I'm playing GOW from the beginning now that God of War 2 is coming out in a few weeks. It's amazing how good it looks on the PS3. The PS3 outputs it at 720x480p, and it looked good, but when I enabled progressive scan in the menu, it looked sharp! I'm really impressed with the PS3's b/c.

My PS2 over component looked like crap on my 32" Samsung. Now that I'm on a 46" Samsung, I can't imagine using my PS2 to play God of War 2. ....what the hell does this have to do with Okami? /leaves

I didn't like Okami much, it was very boring i thought, nice art style and graphics though.

    Blackninja @Driftwood: Oui il peuvent faire un simple remake boosté comme Starfox mais il ya quand même pas mal de chose à corriger. (il y a 10 minutes)

    Driftwood @Blackninja: je doute qu'ils osent modifier ce genre de choses, car le jeu original n'était pas construit sur de telles mécaniques. Avec un remake, tu dois penser aussi aux fans de la première heure. (il y a 11 Heures)
