They give a lot of info and talk about a bit of the tech in the game. If I had to take a guess this is some kind of third person shooter.
He showed how characters realistically move and run both in usual gameplay, and also special circumstances like bashing through doors or hurdling over obstacles. Reloading is also shown, with an advanced animation system handling arm positions and movement across many different gun types. Finally Mike showed off some facial animations, going from squinting eyes whilst aiming to a look of pure horror as they are shot (and lots in between!).
We also showed some damage we've built into the areas, such as walls crumbling, windows shattering, posts and pillars being demolished,
Or maybe a GTA clone with some elements of a third person action shooter?

it seems more of a arcade shooter from what i read it is nothing like GTA, you have set levels and have to chain your moves/shooting skills etcetc to build up your combo counter, bit like the kudos in PGR but there is a bar on the screen that goes down inbetween moves so you know when your combo is about to break, and the longer the combo the faster it depletes.
Also the damage which they mention is part of the combos, so if your running out of time inbetween kills, blow fat chunks out the wall to continue the combo.

I like the sound of it, sounds like good old fashioned pointless score whore fun

I wish they'd just quite all this "mysterious" crap and just show us the game, or atleast give some half decent info on the game worthwhile...

We can always hope...

That combo system stuff sounds pretty interesting. Can't wait to hear more about this one..Bizzare is a great studio and I expect great things from them, even if this isn't project gotham :P

Can't wait til they officially reveal this thing to the masses, look forward to seeing it in action. Hopefully they don't release some real game play FIRST.

Not that much mystery surrounding it, try to pick up a issue of 360 (it is actually a good read, like edge but less bullshit)

FPS shooter based on scores, they said that there is a story there, just the story has about as much worth and very similar to a story in a fighting game, like with fighting games to get a the story you have to do it with all the characters and see there side of the story, but mainly the story is pointless, and it is mainly who can get the most points :D

Yeah, but like Jollipop says it seems to be a TPS rather than a FPS.
Looks pretty interesting, though it's still very vague atm...
