It looks amazing, the lighting won't be as good as say the 360 version of Legend, but everything else looks almost as good. Amazing.

Yes it has it!! Let me find the link to that video.

EDIT: Here you go, it's another video from the same polish site. it has a walkthrough of the first 15 minutes of the game and somewhere in the middle, Lara will step into a secret area and you'll that all famous diddleling as you referred to it! :D

So true. Ultimately, what a fucking awesome console it turned out to be. I'm almost ashamed of my years of Sony bashing, owning a saturn and dreamcast. I mean yeah, I had a right to be angry because of the whole Sega crashing and burning - reasons partly attributed to sony's practices - but I really shouldn't have let that cloud my judgement enough to disregard of the experiences it offered.

Done is done, though, and I'm also thankful for circumstances that arose as a result of being a Sega fan and understanding the concept of love if you will, and all I can do now is to cherish the memory of the PS2 aswell as catch up with some of its finest.

Its finest being at least a year's worth of gaming, ironically.

No problem. Same here in fact, I bought both FF and GOW on release day although Im slightly disappointed with FF12. I cant wait for Tomb raider to be released and in case anybody has forgotten we still have Rogue Galaxy and Valkyrie Profile Silmeria to look forward to here in europe .. the PS2 simple wont die!!! :D

Well Alimo if you were dissapointed with FF12 , don't get your hopes up with RG and VP.

Although both games are graphical masterpieces (at least on the PS2) they aren't triple A games.

But then i didn't like KH2 much so i guess it's more down to personal taste.

Well I LOVED the demo, it was awesome.
It's like Lara is re-born only with higher polygon count, bigger boobs and smoother controls.

You can't go wrong with this game folks, and you definitely can't go wrong with giving the demo a try.

PS: I used a PS2 gamepad via USB adapter and it worked flawlessly just incase someone was interested to know.

I played the demo too over the week end and I must say the game has captured the atmosphere of the original EXTREMELY well .. the game has been on preorder for me since a month ago. if you want the PS2 version go to:

This isn't gonna be a popular comment, but there's a Wii version in the works, and I'm prolly gonna wait for that. There's a slight offchance that Wii controls can make it a very attractive version to own if done intuitively.

It's happened before, what with Godfather actually being considered a very successful game on the Wii compared to being somewhat bland elsewhere.

EDIT: I should prolly rush to point out that I think Legend is brilliant and I don't in any way suggest that TRA would be "bland" elsewhere!

I agree Simon, I mean WiiMote did wonders for PriceOfPersia which was already awesome so this is almost the identical case.

Not to mention Manhunt2 is 10times better with the WiiMote (says the previews).

Nintendo hit a gold mine and if more devs start to multi-plat their game onto Wii and enable WiiMote controls, I see Wii becoming the choice of even 'PS2 like gamers' where they can play their beloved franchises but with a WiiMote for added fun!
