Seems that there is a Project Sylpheed demo available on the Marketplace and it's 613.03 megs big.
Dunno for which regions this is available though...

I enjoyed it, but that took a while. I refused to use tutorial at first and jumped straight into the action, yup had no idea wtf was going, lasers and crap flying off everywhere, and then I got a headache. After going through the tutorial and getting the hang of it, it was fun for me at least. Also, the English dubs suck ass. Good thing this is a budget title though, I was interested in the game after Blim's videos of the JPN version, so the fact that it's cheap I may just pick it up.

I know I'm probably in the minority though :P


FYI, SE pretty much had nothing to do with this game outside of maybe the CGI and publishing it in Japan. GameArts is the developer.

Tried it at a mates today and he did the same thing as you Ken', jumped in and didn't have the foggiest as to what was going on.

I tookover and went through the tut's and to my suprise this is a pretty decent space shooter.

A nice little gem of a game I think. If you like space shooters then at a budget price this is hard to resist. If you don't like space shooters then this probably won't change your mind.

I liked this game. Reminds me of some older pc games like Freespace or X-Wing series. Only bad thing was the frame rate.

FYI, demo mission is one of six challenge missions that have been recently released as DLC. And this mission is much more difficult than early missions of retail version.

Had another go. It's just complete madness! So mad infact they should consider changing the name to: Project PlumbDrumb.

I found spending every penny I had on weapon upgrades seemed to help matters, still have no idea on what i'm supposed to be doing though :D
