So I guess that means that the DLC for the 360 version that was scheduled for Q2 2008 will probably get pushed back, no? Money wasted, holiday season missed :P

WOW, that was a biggie. No more, HALO3, GTAIV, and Madden 08 in the same holiday season. Now I hope that many of those publishers that delayed 360 games or or timed ps3 exclusives release this holiday season.

Maybe rockstar thought halo3 would hurt some of its sales.

I was interested the most in this GTA more than any other, having only rented GTA3 once. I'm sorry for MS's big 3 for the Holiday... Halo3, Madden, GTA4.

But it will help prop up sales of Bioshock, Assasins Creed, Halo3, COD4, Mass Effect and others... hopefully. I think it will. The holiday was already too crowded.

Yup.. between console releases, PC releases, and new hardware.. I have plenty to spend money on this winter. Could be a blessing in disguise.

not fun of this game. but the holiday season was so packed it would be impossible to archieve the same success as the previous one.

imo this game will not have the same glory as its previous games......the market has changed

Damn if GTAIV only came out this year it would just add to the crazyness which I like. There would be still competition and many mags and websites would all complain of what gets the crown of GOTY.

:( I know there is a lot of games coming out this year but I was definitely getting this.

Reality of cross-platform development and having over an extra year headstart on one of those platforms by the looks of it.
