I don't like that the flight controls are waggle only. I'm pretty sure that's going to kill my interest in this game.. we will see. They should release a demo.. I need to know if I should even bother.

These couple of days i have been thinking the same.

Like I don't like flight games, so I am starting to get doubts these days on Lair if I like the game or not, just because its a flight game.

I have to consider the game a bit more.

I actually hoped the game would center around flying your dragon, but I was also hoping for something a little more.. Panzer Dragoon I guess. Using sixaxis to control your dragon seems a bit.. gimmicky to me. The PS3 has some good games coming (and soon) so this may be one I wind up skipping out on.

Interest in Warhawk rising, interest in Lair.. shrinking. But I could be dead wrong.

Sorry just my opinion but the graphics are pretty ugly. Somethings are really nice but a lot of things are really ugly.

did you play the Beta?

Anyway, I'm thinking the same thing. My overall interest in Lair has taken a plunge a bit, and interest in Warhawk(which I had 0) is rising. I read pretty good impressions from those who participated in the Beta, and seen enough videos to grab my interest.

No I did not.. impressions seem favorable though. The retail bundle w/ the bluetooth heady seems like a good deal to me, if it's a nice headset. I hope it's not branded as a PS3 or Warhawk heady though, I'd like to be able to use it on other devices (cell) without looking like a super nerd.

That's the headset there Grift. I think I will end up just buying my own. That thing looks pretty cheap. I really wish there was a headset that came standard with the PS3. The quality of audio is gonna be all over the place.

Well I'm still interested in owning a retail copy. I'm not 100% keen on digital distros on consoles yet. Works on PC, but there are a a handful of issues that make it a different sort of beast on that platform.

I just hope they have a way to make sure you never lose your download. Itunes is freakin disgraceful in that if you lose your music you cant just re-download it. 360 has got it right.
