One of my most atnicipated games this year for sure:D
same. since i now own the game that i was most looking forward to (bioshock) this has now taken top spot...with mass effect a very close second.

too many games coming out this year....may have to start renting a few of the less AAA titles. to save some cash.

Hehe yeah...Mass Effect and Assassins Creed is one my most anticipated games this year, and as you see on my list, they are on top.

But as for which version I am gonna get, well Assassins Creed dont have online, so I will get the 360 version, and as a bonus (although I dont care much for it) achievements while playing it.

But it looks like a very great game for sure.

Meh, I'm not feeling the combat at all. It's not bad, but totally not my thing. Perhaps playing it, I don't know. It seems way too slow and somewhat scripted if you know what I mean. We'll see, perhaps it'll save me another $60

I like the precision of the combat, much less hack and slashy like alot of other games, and it seems more realisitic imo.

Well Jade did say they wanted to go for that realistic sword fighting.
It's not your typical DMC or NG game were you keep pushing the button to kill them, you can but at some point they will counter attack you.

I for one like the combat very much, seems you need to be very precise when you attack, dodge and block.
Meaning...skills is required.

Urgh bloody Gamespot flash player, possibly the crappest browser player, couldn't even watch the damn thing because the crappy arse buttons dont work or load.

Anyway, this game needs to hurry up, and like what others have been saying, everything we've seen about this game has pretty much been the same stuff repeated over and over and over, like the first CGI of the game, thats been done and done with so many diff angels, or ingame actions or what not.

SHOW US SOMETHING NEW!

The combat is cool, but I'd like to see as if it flows smoother.

At times it feels like there is a kotor esque pause on all the action or as if there is a bit of overcompensation or even making enemies take longer to do certain things to help the main character.

I suppose that isn't a problem I wont really mind if the game is easy as long as I enjoy it. My biggest gripe I'd say is they need to make it all flow much more smoothly than whats being showed as of now. I really like what I see. The graphics are fantastic I think. Just make it flow better. The crowd seemed to absolutely love all they were seeing. I see potential for this game to become a GTA like hit in Europe. Just make it all feel more natural.

Its only because the animations are so impressive that these small things become more obvious, but they have plenty of time to make it happen before release. I hope they do it and if they don't I'd like them to push it back until they are able to.

But if they keep showing you new stuff, whats the point of getting shocked of its glory and exciting new places in the game.

Like yeah of course we want to see new stuff and all from all of our favorite games coming out, but the only thing they can do though is to release a pre-release demo, that way we can play it, and yet they can keep all the secrets and such for the full game :D

Looks as good as always, dont know how i'm going to split my time between playing this and Mass Effect, let me see each week i will spend 6 and 3/4 days playing mass effect, 1/4 playing AC then rinse and repeat :P

I sorta miss the old days of being surprised by a game still. I know I'll regret watching the scene of the covenant ship flying overhead and finding out exactly when it does take place. I'm going blackout from now on in regards to both Halo 3 and AC. Mass Effect I'll go blackout on that too. Lost Odyssey.. can't help it want to see more.

Likewise! being wowed by TFC were the days, or the AI of the ninjas in Half Life. But then i guess originality doesn't make money like it use to.

The closest thing to wow me was Farenheit, that was a great game, then AC came along, but unfortunatly, for all the stuff thats been put it, every single peice has had a high lack of variety. So then it just becomes every other 3rd person, but hopefully liike before more stuff will be released closer to Dday

The variety comes in how you choose to play the game, this is just one assassination they are demonstrating, and probably the most linear one. For others you could approach in a more stealthy way, or just run up and kill the guy and deal with the aftermath of that decision. This game is far more unique than a lot of other 3rd person games.

I understand the need to see more, but there does come a point when you can potentially ruin any surprise left for the game.

Man this game is gonna be so awesome this November.
I have no idea what to play everytime I think about playing a game between Mass Effect and Assassins Creed on the shelves :P

Okay so here is the same PAX but I guess with a better and bigger quality.

Anyway...Altair is a fucking no-power Spider-Man damn it!!!

(the end is amazing, a bit of a jump into the hay. I like the sound of the hawk when he jumps like that)

I just love how much small detail they have put into this game when Altair starts to grab edges and such, he perfectly puts his hand and legs exactly where there is support.
