Looks to be a ps3/xbox360 action game like god of war.... Looks really interesting....

It was such a very long time ago they showed a tech demo of this I thought it was cancelled.

About the trailer, very very awesome, very cool art.
If the combat is good enough then they got something going on, clearly the story and art is there.

Looks cool.

But when i saw around the net, they would announce a new game i was hoping it to be Homeworld 3 - would make me go crazy :(

I still like warhammer 40k universe, and the game should be fun. Keeping an eye.

As such, Space Marine is the kind of over-the-top action game that I can’t remember seeing on the PC in a while. For most of the time you don’t need to worry about taking damage, just dealing it out, which is looking to be an enormously satisfying business. Your default Bolter rifle doesn’t just fire bullets, it fires rocket-propelled slugs designed to detonate inside the target. And aside from being absurd in and of themselves, your melee weapons (chainsword, power fist, storm hammer) are all backed up by your Marine’s mega-strength. And this is before we’ve gotten to the heavy weapons- one setpiece I saw involving a heavy bolter left behind a pile of ork corpses straight out of any piece of 40k artwork.
Reasons why Space marines rock!
Space Marines are given 19 extra internal organs to help them fight, including an extra heart and a bonus lung. Their bones are laced with a ceramic substance which also causes their rib cage to grow into a solid plate. Their Power Armour is inches thick, and the Marines interface with it through cybernetic fibres that grow into their chest.
Plus, all Space Marines carry inside them the enhanced genetic material of the Primarchs, superhuman generals bred when humanity was at its zenith. Altogether a Space Marine weighs around a ton and is a legendary badass, said to be the match of 1,000 Orks.
Sounds awesome. Relic is one of my favorite developers.

Sounds cool, but I hope it doesn't get super repetitive. If you can just stand there and take a shit-ton of damage, where is the challenge and fun factor? Mindless action without strategy?...

Too bad they chose the Ultramarines chapter, I always think they look like idiots in their bright blue armour...

THQ Says Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Will Use Steamworks, Not Games For Windows Live.

Following the demo we asked producer Andy Lang whether Space Marine would use GFWL or Steamworks, prompting a response of, "We're not talking about that." However, Lang would confirm that we did spot the GFWL user interface during the demo. When asked whether Relic had already decided on a particular platform for its PC version, Lang said the decision was already made.

Although we were not able to confirm the decided PC platform at the time of publishing, it appeared likely that Relic would continue to use Games for Windows Live. THQ finally fessed up earlier today and confirmed to Shacknews that Relic will use the Steamworks platform for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.

Multiplayer looks bad IMO, very bad.

Single player however, looks awesome!
I will be playing single player only for sure.

PS. Love the depth of the customization though.
