CGi kinda dissapointed me, as did the trailer in general. but i have no doubt it'll be a decent game. FINALLY get to visit earth. always pissed me off that it wasnt a visitable world in the last 2.

Also I want to make tough decisions. Like, let the Asari/Tourians get wiped out or save x/y. The whole mission has to have a sense of urgency. I mean the Reapers are attacking, millions are dying every day, if you're not quick enough there have to be consequences.

The first two games had the limitation that no matter what decision you made, it wouldn't have much impact on the next game for continuation's sake. This time there are no excuses.

I think the trailer did a pretty good job actually, though after ME2 i'm not convinced it will be all that great. My big fear is that it will have even less RPG this time around and that would most certainly suck ass, if it's even possible.

OKay, one thing we learned from this trailer. This Earth soldier is LOOKING for Shepard to arrive with help, so that obviously means that Shepard is no longer on the Alliance's shit list and some turn of events opened the entire truth up to the general public. Good! I'm done working for the TIM, he's scum and I don't want anything else to do with him.

Another thing is that THIS incident has obviously taken place far into the story. The extremely low number of casualties (7 Million after only one week) proves that the Reapers are harvesting, not exterminating humanity for Reaper production. Of course that's just as bad as killing us. LOL! Moreover, the Reapers are doing it themselves, no longer using intermediaries like the Collectors which may indicate that something forced the Reapers into action.

One can only wonder what help Shepard could bring, the Reapers aren't going to stop what they're doing just because my Shepard's coming. He's obviously going to have be armed with something more than the Normandy.

Yes, he is armed with FRIENDSHIP! I'm basically just waiting for him to go super-sayajin and kame-hame-ha that shit into oblivion at this point. There's no stopping super-Shep!

Maybe he'll pull some strings and get the Krogan clans to stop them. They seem like an able bunch, when they are not tearing eachothers faces off.

There will be DLC tieing ME2 to ME3, hopefully it will be as good as the Shadow Broker one, i'm so excited for ME.3 afer the greatness of ME.2

I hear you Megido, but it's still a tall order. Shepard could have an armada, but the Reapers are the ones who built the mass relays. They know exactly how to shut them down and isolate entire sectors of space while they harvest whole star systems one by one. My Shepard is obviously going to need some kind of work around. lol!

I still can't shake what the Asari delivering the Rachni Queen's message said. "When the time comes our voice will join with yours, and our crescendo will burn the darkness clean" So you definitely could be right about friendship.I'm quite intrigued as to how it will play out.

As predicted, this game is coming to PS3 at the same as 360 and PC, great!

Great news, but theres only one platform i'll be playing it on and thats the 360, i'm playing through ME1 now then onto 2, as i want to go down some different paths before 3 hits :)

I hope this one isn't just an action game with "rpg-lite" elements like 2

I hope its allot like 2 only longer with more exploration.

I just hope its got more stat elements like the 1st ( just not the weapons of the 1st they was a pain in the arse)

If they just made items stack the inventory of the first game would be fine. Maybe decrease the drop rate and increase the difference the mods makes as well, but i don't think they will be going back towards more RPG heavy features in ME any more. ME2 was so well recieved that if anything, i'd sooner think they strip away even more RPG stuff untill it's just a shooter with a dialogue system on top.

Well it's obvious, ain't it? Seriously I hated the so called RPG elements in ME1. I could barely put up with the shit the first play through, let alone the second and third. Less time fiddling in the menu doing redundant shit = more time spent in these awesome locations.

The only critique I do understand is regarding the story. There wasn't much tbh, but the characters and missions more than compensated for it.

Why should it be obvoius though, should all games really get more and more shallow per game because some people found the certain aspects of the game "cumbersome" might as well let the chief carry all weapons because the micro managment of try to save best weapons for certain sections (legendary) is to much like hard work..

They should not just "take it out" they should FIX it, yes the ammount of gear you picked up took the piss and it was all pretty much redundunt when you got spectre gear.. fix it dont take it out.. the leveling system was fine and it stayed to a degree, but there was so little to put points in you pretty much maxed everything in the first play through...

As for offworld i really enjoyed rallying round on the diffrent planets looking for stuff, the macro or whatever it was called handled like shit yeah and this and the "repetition" of the buildings needed to be fixed dramaticly

I cant speak for the DLC as like many people i did not play the DLC, i did hear though that a macro thingy made it back in.. but to what extent i dont know.
"omfg you not played DLC you cant talk about the game" i played the finished game supplied on disk, that to me is playing the game (i rented it so had to pretty much rush the bitch out, which kinda destroyed a lot of it for me)

I think it sucks that you only level combat skills as well, whatever happened to the kind of roleplaying we saw in Planescape, Baldur's gate and Fallout? Fuck paragon/renegade and add charisma and intelligence back in :P

I agree that the problems should be fixed, not removed. ME2 feels very dumbed down compared even to the very light RPG elements found in 1 and that's saying something.
