They both say that the game has alot of slow down issues at times, the cars drive like spaceships, weapon choices suck, plain visuals, the AI is hard as hell, and that it gets boring after a couple of hours because its all the same..
but great destruction, and rewind play...
oh well what a let down...

egm says the game runs beautifully at 60fps and only when the action gets totally crowded and chaotic do slowdowns occur.
Hell even on the best of high end pc machines slowdowns to a crawl of about 18fps or lower in games sometimes evn though its average fps will be around 40ish or 50ish in a really stressful game there are times where it dips to 18 or lower we just gotta deal with these things.
http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2006/01/24/x1900x... Take the min fps on the x1900xtx for example.
I've seen websites that have given the game a 5 complaining that the ai in the game is so extremely hard it isn't even funny. Either they suck at the game or they just aren't appreciative of a game with challenging ai. That person probably gave ninja gaiden black and bad score too.
Even websites that gave it a 9 mentioned the slowdowns in those situations, but none of it was enough to make the game not seem fun.
Not worth a purchase, MAYBE a rent.

The truly sad part about this is watch them probably give the ps3 version alot more attention and it will most likely run much better as a result. Maybe the pre orders hitting over 500,000 sold probably got to their head and made em feel the game already did well no need to continue optimizing?
At any rate I canceled my pre-order I'll rent it first then see what the deal is. I didn't find the demo too bad at all framerate wise so maybe the final game is better than that? No way it could've gotten worse.
Very disappointing fight night round 3 will salvage the month of february for me.
Apparently from the developer's blog they'll continue improving things offline and online for this game I hope that also means they can fix fps issues.. This game even though it has a repetitive style to it could've been easily salvaged if only all this chaos was taking place on screen at a flawless fps it would help for the overall experience of the game.
Got a call from my friend while I was in the middle of t yping this and he says the game has alot of fps issues... very disappointed as I wanted a fast chaotic arcade type game like this to have all that action taking place on screen flawlessly.
