Lighting isn't the same thing as the gamma levels. 360 games tend to be "darker" and PS3 games lighter, and often washed out. A LOT of comparison articles have pointed this out. But as for actual game lighting, the 360 is better in this case... and in most cases in multiplatform games.

If you have your TV adjusted for your PS3 (which truly is too bright/washed out too often) then you should adjust your TV.

Well technically I didnt mean Lighting .... something about PS3 games just appeals to me more in terms of light. Oh and Acert, I dont have a PS3, I have just seen games running in it (mutliplatfrom games) and they something about their image quality appears better, colors are more vivid, image is brighter which I assumed was due to lighting

heh, they seem to give you a lot more money starting out in Quest mode this time around(50K) than they did with the PS3 version, which was like 100g or something like that if I remember correctly.

Ran through command training(El Blaze mostly) and some quest mode for a bit, but sadly will have to put this(and Naruto) on hold for a bit. Have to get started on a 25 page paper! *High five*

If you have HDMI or VGA you can change the gamma options in the Xbox dashboard, under display.

Plus if you are using HDMI on the PS3 you can switch the HDMI option to full colour which will make the picture darker, more like the 360's output.

And that indeed confimrs what I said on that Call of duty 4 thread. PS3 games just have better lighting in general.

Different gamma isn't better lighting.

Sweet. It's sad.. with all of the time that I've sunk into this franchise in the past, and fighters in general, I've basically given up on them in the last two years. I really need to put the breaks on COD4 and pick this up in the process. It's basically a crime that I don't own it.

You should find the game from bargain bin already. Then again if you really want to play and be good at it you should get it when you have time for it.
