Since 7127 DaysMaybe it's just the amount of great games out there that are more appealing, I don't know. Those videos posted a couple pages back also have me worried, if assassinating others is all you have to do, then it can get boring story wise, like Crackdown. There has to be more than just killing, and well, the assassinations are quite repetitive. But that's all I will say before you all get upset.
Game looks good though, I'm not saying it's bad or anything, but just one of the faults I see.

Since 6888 DaysBasically You have been abducted by a medical research facilitiy, where they explain that they are looking for something from the past (i'm guessing a treasure of some kind) but they need you to relive the memories of your ancestor, this is basically what the story is based around, obviously some of the memories are being blocked by your subconcious so you have to go through the memories as if they were levels.
The memories are pretty much objectives and missions, its not just assassination its pick pocketing, saving innocent peoples lives from the templers and gathering information or just wondering around seeing what trouble you can get up to :P
It's actually very well thought out, I'm sure most of you know I dislike western games so it must be good.. :D
I was expecting it to be pretty crap (at least not my style of game) to be honest and I've been hugely surprised.

Since 6873 DaysI'm not sure it's explorable as Crackdown in either the vertical sense or as in every block being unique but generally just running around and climbing can be fun in itself.
I only got to play through to the first big city you get to but the story certainly seemed to start off pretty well. I'm toying with getting it anyway and seeing how much of it I can get done before Mass Effect :S If I can clear one or two games from my backlog by Friday it's in!
PS: Jolli, it's not illegal to sell games early, there's no laws against it. Retailers generally have an agreement with the publishers, via their distribution partners, to maintain street dates. Recently when an indie breaks it or there's a mistake at one of the non-specialist retailers most people have stayed true to them and not followed suit, usually to much self congratulatory back slapping in the industry press. Does my head in!

Since 6871 DaysI also asked them the Collectors Edition with the Altair statue they said it costs 899 SEK, that is fucking ALOT for a game and couple of inches of a statue, so I took the regular one as pre-order.
Anyway, I just can't wait to play the game this week.
