Mmmm, now that would be very nice, some good co-op action in a Battlefield single player could really make a difference. Especially using vehicles in missions.

I thought the SP was actually not too bad in the first BC so I don't see why this one should be that bad. Like said earlier, if they could just get the gun control a little smoother and more responsive, and lower the amount of bullets needed to kill someone, this would be a near perfect game for me.

Can't wait to see how the final game plays.

No co-op confirmed. They DID say that they improved the AI and have a more sophisticated animations system :D That scene in South America with the valley and the mountains in the distance :O''' My anticipation has hit the "not watching any more" level!!!!

I'm a bit troubled about the limited edition unlocks:

I've seen the trailer and although they look awesome I'm not paying extra for that kind of stuff.
The thing is, I just hope it doesn't lead to an advantage for people who are prepared to dish out money for that stuff. I mean especially that montion sensor and vehicle armor sounds a bit overpowered...

You are not paying more for the unlocks. In fact on Steam there's only the limited edition at 50€, otherwise there would be a version without the unlocks cheaper.

So yeah i think it's just incentive to make people buy the game at launch, and the unlocks will probably unlock for everyone later.

The beta on PS3 had the unlocks playable, and i didn't find them overpowered. People can play just fine without them. I loved tracer pistol though. Hit a vehicle, and will make rockets of team lock on.

Sorry should have clarified; I ordered the game for 35 Euro's. I don't think those things are worth 15 euro's more :)

Thing is you are not paying more because of the unlocks, but just because it's on Steam, as with all games on Steam on launch.

I know you can get all/most PC games at launch cheaper on play.com than on Steam for example.

Still undecided where i will buy my copy from though.

Well just found out something interesting:

The Unlocks from the limited edition are not exclusive to that edition. It means those unlocks are already unlocked day 1 when you buy the Limited the edition.
The normal edition feature's the same unlocks but need to be unlocked by leveling up in multiplayer.

So thank god this is not exclusive...
No way I'm getting that steam version now

Yea, that's what I figured. I thought every first run edition was LE though?

I really hope this game lets you tweak a lot of the graphics settings. I need to be able to get this up to 60+ fps.

I already have a 1GB 4870. I think that should keep me going for at least another year if I push it, another six months if I really want to be on the cutting edge. I'm definitely not buying a new GPU until the next generation of nvidia and ATI stuff are both out, and I don't think I'd bother pairing a new GPU with this Core 2 Duo. I'm overclocked quite a bit ([email]E6600@3.2GHz[/email]) but I'm concerned by the recommended specs for this game, which call for a Quad Core CPU.

Weird i didin't see that, since on the PS3 beta those unlocks were there, and i unlocked them. Ah well still happy everyone either way gets the items :)

Yeah, the limited edition is simply an reason to get people to pre-order the game for fiscal reasons. They are trying to get big launch numbers for the franchise hype machine. A good idea even if really annoying for gamers who don't like to pre-order.

Watched the whole Gametrailers episode and holy shit that jungle level looks fantastic. I'm just praying they use that level's assests really well for the multiplayer map based on that level. I love how much it reminds me of apocolypse now/rambo/platoon type movies.

The more I see, the more hyped I keep getting. EA and Dice are doing a VERY good job getting people's attention with this game. This is how you present a game and make a strong arugment for why shooter fans should be paying attention.

hmm, from the SP trailer it seems to be missing a bit the silly comical tone the first one had, which made it so special and not taking it self so seriously. Hmm, sure hope it's not the case.
Although i like the music and the overall rythm of the trailer, it's looking a bit generic war game.

If you watch the GTTV footage from the last page you can see that the guy from Dice mentions that the campaign will still feature the same kind of comical tone as before..

I'm pretty sure that is the case. Some play.com customers claim they're getting into the beta today. That would be lame.

Gamestop is sending out keys on the 26th too but they still say that the beta starts on the 28th.

just saw it. amazing. the gfx seem to be very much improved. it seems to me that it has more AA, but still in some parts i spotted tearing.
still, overall amazing!!
