I'm not going by stats. By stats alone the gun is one of the best long range weapons. It's clearly not. Of course it's the best weapon if you want to mow down a squad at close range, and I got quite a few tripple kills with it, but it doesn't work on every team. Everyone can kill some scrubs, a good organised squad will tear you apart.

The M60 was a very strong gun. But by no means is the MG3 as useful as the old M60.

My mates and I came across a group of Level 50's recently that just tore us the fuck apart. Never before had we faced ANYONE that was so tough. They knew exactly where to pinch and sit within the maps to shut down almost any advance (Rush)

Usually it's just noobs in pubs. It was weird and random

I really like how they never give you a chance to fly a heli in campaign, and theres no 'mess-around' mode, so your first flight in a Heli is doomed to failure! YAY!

After playing Onslaught mode a couple times I think it is a pretty fun game mode. Not sure it's worth $10 for only four maps w/ pretty short missions, but on the harder difficulty it is an interesting challenge. But I do feel the price was too heavy as it's only 4 maps.

dice really needs to get at least three new maps for this game.

Bad Company's 'rank' is only 'experience' based. There'd be not much point in doing that. They'd need a new skill-ranking system in the background.

I just don't like entire teams of 50's against teams of completely opposite rank
It makes fighting on noob teams terrible and games boring when you fight noob teams.
They should have a new skill ranking system in the background. All games should. It should be the norm in these types I think
At least allow us to swap teams maybe to balance things out at times.

Really? If i'm playing a bunch of beginners I find little fun in getting a lot of kills. It's the same as playing a SP game on easy mode. There just isn't any satisfaction or challenge to it. I tend to only really enjoy the rewards that are challenging to earn.

If I was one of those guys who always had an insane KDR all the time I would get bored to shit of online shooters. I find teamwork and goals to be a lot more fun than just going for lots of kills. That's why I liked BC2 so much at first, it had so much more team based play than most shooters.

That's really not bragging, especially if you essentially admit to KDR padding when you're losing. The majority of players in this game on any platform are scrubs. The same is true in every modern military shooter I've played. Call of Duty and the Medal of Honor beta yield very similar results.

Very true most people suck even on PC (although i do come across some really amazing players every now and then). I run with a squad or two of friends usually so about 95% of the time I'm not KD padding, I'm trying to win.

This isn't about me getting kills. This is about me wanting to consistently get matched up with other players of similar level and feel like I'm getting a challenge from time to time

Some sort of matchmaking would really improve BC2 a lot. I want to play with a good team against another good team. The amount of action on your screen increases ten fold and it's the most you can get out of the game.

Right now it's frustrating. Either we leave a server because we're utterly dominating or we get stressed out after just two rounds by the amount of "work" (capping/defending bases) we have to do alone. But then, BC1 was a lot better a year after release, so my hopes are it'll get better over time. Right now the amount of scrubs is too much, although it's fun using the Saiga against them, got 3 Nemesis pins that way in a single round. :)

The light machine gun with the drum mags on it with a red dot is pretty ridiculous, even more so then the M60 IMPO. Perfect accuracy from nearly any distance when squeezing off rounds one by one. I honestly 'feel' its more accurate the then M16A2 sometimes when I use it.
