Yea, I just installed UT99 GOTY edition last night because well--Gears has put me into an EPIC mood. I love it--I forgot just how much I like this game. I had been playing a fair amount of Q3A recently with what extra gaming time I had, and I seem to have forgotten that when UT99 dropped--I dropped Q3A. Now they're both sitting on my PC, comfortably waiting to be played. I don't think I'll ever uninstall either game.

Some FPS never get old. I need to install CS1.6 while I'm on this trip down memory lane.

But yea, my point was just that all this Unreal'n made me want to play UC2 as well, very cool and original game in the series.

Yes, let's pray Shenmue 2 becomes BC.

And I agree some FPS never get old. Some get replaced though. I can't go back to CS1.6, and I never will, it feels too cheap now. When I got into CSS, I never looked back.

As for UT99, I think I prefer Quake III Arena. I have the DC version of Quake III and I can't believe how I was able to play using the face buttons in place of an analog stick. I connected my Dreamcast last year it just feels BAD, back then it felt fine though.

By the way did anyone ever play XIII (the Cel shaded FPS), i was guna get that as i liked the art style but never picked it up.

Was that any good ?

XIII, I played the demo for PC. It wasn't horrible, but it felt average.

I don't know, they're both classics. There are certain things that I really do love about Quake 3 Arena--Quake one really changed the way I looked at multiplayer FPS--Quake 3 really drove that point home. But I like the variety of weapons and weapon functions in Unreal Tournement, Unreal's always had bitching weapon design. I also like Unreal's variety when it comes to game modes and mods, though with the mod community in mind, Quake comes close in that department too. Both have some nice level design too.

Unreal definitly has *slightly* better graphics.

I played the demo for XIII on Xbox, I thought it was pretty average, from what I played. It did look neat though.
