Very good video about Crysis universe and later on to Crysis 2.

Though I dislike the nanosuit design in MP, and seeing half of the soldiers faces through the visors are meh.

I mean its like sci-fi COD without the dumb killstreaks and I love that, and the game runs faster and doesnt have that annoying weightfeel to it (starting to get annoyed by it).
I hope they do a beta on PC or PS3 :)

There are alot of people who are playing Crysis MP even today, Crysis 2 MP isnt going to be any different.
1) Performance, performance, performance. Crysis 2 will only run well on some computers (that's a technically term; it means less than many). Yeah, that's right, that includes consoles too. Consistency isn't going to win it any points. People are going to lean on games that have much better performance, because there's virtually nothing compelling them to play a game that can't consistently run at a good frame rate when they can play better (key word: better) games like (yes) Call of Duty instead @ 60+fps. People are only truly forgiving of performance when the game is good enough to warrant it. See: Bad Company 2.
2) Gameplay. Crysis is a great single player game, and generally speaking, it has tight gameplay, but the multiplayer design is clearly an afterthought. Interesting systems yanked from Battlefield and Counter Strike aren't going to grab people when they can play better games like Battlefield or Counterstrike.
1) Crysis hasn't actually been out for that long. That wouldn't be impressive even if it were true. A LOT of people are playing Call of Duty 4 today. Even more people are playing CS1.6.
2) There are 498 people playing Crysis Wars on Xfire daily. That's slightly more than Unreal Tournament 3--another game that "no one" plays.
3) There are fewer than 130 servers according to GameTracker.com. No more than 11 of those servers currently have 10 or more people on them.
So "no one" is a clear exaggeration of the facts, but probably a smaller one than "a lot."
My prediction is pretty sound: Crysis 2 MP will be more popular out the gate on consoles (perhaps having an edge on PS3 thanks to the lack of Halo) than it will be on PC, and in a matter of months the player populations on all platforms are going to drop dramatically. The console version will be abandoned first, and the PC version will have dozens if not a few hundred daily players a year after its release. Will you be able to find a game a year from now? Probably. But get used to playing with the same small handful of people.
And yes, actually, I guess Call of Duty and Halo do share some of the blame for being more well designed multiplayer games!

Sure it wont be alot like Halo or COD but there will be players on all platforms.
PS3 owners wont play Crysis 2 because of lack of "Halo", thats what Killzone 3 is for (exclusive being a big part of the hype obviously).
I enjoy the gameplay of Crysis, and Crysis 2 seems to be more "michael bay" type than Crysis 1 was, and I dont mind that.
And seeing how the MP has that COD but sci-fi, I am happy.
But whatever, I am excited for Crysis 2 SP/MP regardless.
Still haven't been impressed with anything I've seen from Crysis 2 though, but that's probably due to me playing the first one on high. The engine itself is pretty impressive, so I know it's capable of having those "wow" moments. Just haven't seen that in any of the previews yet, but we'll see. To be fair, we didn't get to the OMGWTFBBQ why is my PC crying of the Core, Alien Spaceship, and Paradise Lost till towards the end in the first one(don't care what anyone else says), so I'm not too worried.
