I'll tell you why NYC again. Because they already have all of it built, and it's a lot faster (and therefore cheaper) to go in and modify those existing buildings and streets than it is to make an entirely new alien planet from scratch.

Believe them when they make the game into native 720p resolution. Because games like Uncharted 3 and Killzone 3 looks better than Crysis 2 IMO because of the resolution being 720p.
Hell, even Halo 4 looks fantastic because its 720p unlike sub-HD crap on past Halo's.

That being said, I read there is going to be a video today.

I decided to check out Crysis 2 finally, I found it for €7 at retail so why not? I played it for 30 minutes so far, boooring introduction but the best looking game that graced my PC by far and it seems really well optimized.

Yeah maybe it'll get better at some point - not so in your face with all that cinematic stuff but some engaging gameplay. At least it'll be a nice benchmark app when I buy a new PC lol.

it gets worse as you go on, the moment they introduce the ceph the game just turns to complete and utter shit. it's ok fighting the humans. but still not great.
