Despite that tho, it is By far my GOTY so far, and i can only realistically see 2 games bettering it. Batman arkham city and uncharted. But man is it gonna be tough to beat. I love this game.
yea this and Witcher 2 are two of my GOTYs. Deus Ex at 1 GOTY position and Witcher 2 at number 9 position

What augs do you have? you only have one cell? man u should def get more cells next time.
Nah I had just 1 left over. No booster bars to increase it at that point but like I said found the mine template so my gas mine and my tranq rifle did the trick.

Finally done. 30 minutes turned out to be a bit of an understatement....by about 3 hours...lol

Clocked about 35-40 total. Amazing game, endings where a bit dissapointing, including the after credits surprise. But overall it was great. Will play through again i'm sure. Possibly as a shooter, or at the very least a leathal stealth character. Cos not using adams arm blades or any of the cool weapons was just painful, especially not getting to use that silenced sniper that came as a bonus. Missing quite a lot of trphies tho, which look to be linked to side missions, but i really dont know what they could be for since i did them all as far as i'm aware?

Hope they make a sequel...or prequel.

Finally beat her, damn her lol

Anyways, I am back to Detroit, the riot is broken loose like the CGI trailer, love it.

This game is definitely a high rating title for me, pure awesome game, I give it 9/10 with some loose ends of some more polish needed in visuals and some of the gameplay mechanics.

I do believe I am soon done with the game, dont know how much there is left but, those who finished it (KORN) knows.

That woman you killed, she was in monteral right? If so You have about 1/3 left. Maybe 8 hours or so. I really dont remember.

You have like 4 side quests and 5 story missions left across 4 areas. Still plenty to do.

Quick question guys, while playing a nseaky playthrough, is it worth getting the linebacker GL or the laser rifle for dealing with bosses? Already have a boosted heavy rifle, combat rifle and silent sniper.

The revolver fully upgraded is just the King! for me, but where do you find or buy this Laser rifle? i have not come across it yet?

Nah, you want the revolver. Full damage upgrade plus explosive rounds = easy boss fights.

Just encountered "JN" KORN, threw 1 emp grenade and hit him with 4 grenades from the line backer and he was gone. 7 seconds easily =D

Not much of a pacifist if you killed people...lol be a bit strange if they gave you the acheivement.

I didnt get it either, i guess those tranqued but dead guys did count as a leathal takedown, despite getting awarded XP for being non lethal...must be a bug.

Oh well, will definately play again some time. But doubt i'll fit it in before christmas. Things are a bit chocka from now till then, starting with resistance 3.

Yup, same here, although i think Witcher 2 edges it slightly mainly because i feel the decisions you make in Witcher have a much bigger impact on the story.

Really didnt expect the part of the game which is labelled as the tutorial with no hud or anything though to count towards it... Oh well that'll teach me =P

Loved everything about Deus Ex except the ending. Bioshock-esque, except didn't have closure with meaning. Lack. Luster.

Agree.

The game had some flaws which spoiled the immersion for me, and a clunky Menu, i thought the Augs could have been better thought out also, as after i got the main ones the rest just seemed redundant, i had about 5 Praxis kits left and more money than i could spend. But even all that did not dampen my enjoyment i had with this game, well worth the purchase, i'll be getting the 'The Missing Link' DLC also.

Well I'm nearing the end of the game and now that I'm in Panchea I feel it's getting a bit tedious...
I'm trying to play stealthy and knocking out or silently killing only when necessary but these shitloads of enemies are not helping and there seems to be less options on how to tackle a problem or getting from point A to point B. I'm at the part where I have to talk to Sarif and Bill Taggert, but I feel I'm getting a bit tired of trying to find them amidst all those enemies... (I have found them by now, but I've had enough Deus Ex for today, I'll finish the game tomorrow

Yeah the last level was a big let down for me, loads of cheap ass enemies, but as i was built out as a bad ass killer, they were not an issue I left Sarif behind not because i could not find him, but because i found no good reason to be even assed to save him :)
