EDIT: not that i was in any doubt, but that guy driving the red car sold the game for me. Sick driving!

If you're talking about the first guy they showed driving at around the 41min mark with the glasses and baseball cap thats Sebastien Bourdais, hes a Champ Car driver(I hear he's pretty good ;) ).

I honestly don't know how he was able to drive with the wheel an third person camera. Other than that, he was using all the assists, so not impressive. Impressive to see him use the third person camera though.

Yeah he adapted so quickly to the view changes I started to wonder if it was real. He's pretty good alright.

lol, did you see some guy sneak in there and change the view for him. Then He didn't like it, so changed it back:) Almost makes me want to race in third person with a Wheel.
although he did seem to lose his cool near the end, some kind of involuntary rage or something:)

The game looks as good as in Che's replays (and it gives me the same feeling as initial CGIs at times). I'm not worried about graphics any longer, especially considering splitscreen (Motorstorm for example had none and was only 30fps...). Also the sense of speed in actual gameplay is incredible and the best I've seen in any game so far. Really good job Turn 10. But I want to play the game a bit before I'll buy it.

Yeah I wouldn't call that confirmation. I hope it comes soon though.. before the Halo 3 beta, I hope.

So why does a French preview say that the graphics aren't that great and that they expected the game to look much better? What I find most surprising is that they explain the graphical downgrades by the fact that they wanted the game to run at 1080p...

I sure hope the preview version is to blame and that the game will look better than just ok. :(

Visuellement, même si on espérait un peu mieux, Forza Motorsport 2 affiche une certaine forme. Pour que son jeu tourne de façon fluide en 1080p et à deux en écran splitté, Turn 10 a toutefois dû faire pas mal de compromis.

Depends how high you set your expectations, set them too high and you will almost certainly be disappointed, look at the videos for yourself and make up your own mind, theres loads around :) To me and lots of others, it looks fantastic!

Supposedly, it's upscaled, so 1080p might not be the only one to blame. They also mention split screen as a reason. I haven't played much split scren on PGR3, it's highly uncomfortable, and I'd say it's not worth the price in the graphix deparment.
