I'm one of those people who never understood what was so pretty about Just Cause. Above the cloud line.. sure. On foot? No way.. but that's getting mighty off topic.

I just got done playing the demo some more. Anyone have a favorite car so far? I'm enjoying the F430 the most at the moment.. but I really can't wait to actually tune my rides.

Carb, you didn't answer me! Have you modded your wheel?

lol, the Sagaris in FM2? Damn, that thing is weak. I find it impossible to do comparable lap times with that car when compared to ANY OTHER car in the same class, it simply is too tail-happy.

Favorite is totally McLaren F1 or Ferrari Maranello.........damn, those are awesome.

And how's that wheel working out Grift? Is it finally worth it?

The wheel is working out great.. though I'm interested in hearing other peoples impressions as well. So far it seems like it's the best use of the wheel yet though.. keep in mind it is my first racing wheel controller though.. which is why I'm interested in hearing some alternative takes on it.

The McLaren and Maranello are both very nice.. I've been spending most of my time in A class for now though.

Yea it also sounds to me like milhouse hasn't played the forza 2 demo wouldn't be surprised if he didn't own a 360, but even so he can still express his opinion regardless of how much I disagree.

I know, i am just trolling and bashing against the graphics like so many other previews around the internet, but certainly not your fanboys /sarcasm off

You really want to tell me that the textures on the car looks good? Should i post some pics from other games? I think there is no need to talk about the textures.

Above the cloud line you see...clouds. Although clouds do look good also in Just Cause. And you are not impressed by the ground textures, huge amount of foliage, birds and aircrafts flying around, good looking water, beautiful sunsets and sunrises et cetera.

It is all a matter of taste then. No more Just Cause writings from me at Forza 2 topic.

Definately the TVR Sagaris... By far the most fun of all, once you know how to handle it, its simply amazing and faster than almost all the A class cars around the track if you know how to drive with it, only the Z06 beats it and the Viper (Just about).

Maybe after seeing that (poor quality, I admid it) video, you can understand, at least a little, why I fuss about it.

Lighting engine might be a bit better, nice cloud maps... thats about it. I know it was low res youtube quality, but I don't see what you are seeing. I played the Just Cause demo, and was far from blown away by it graphically.

My favorite car by far and one I'll use plenty in Forza 2 especially for online races is the Porsche GT1-98.

Other favorites are

2005 Maserati #35 Risi Competitizone MC12

and as the first ever car I tried racing in forza 2 the Mercedes SLR will have a place in my heart =P Milhouse I'm curious do you own a 360 and have you played the demo? There is nothing wrong if you didn't, but I'm trying to see if you actually played the game as well and still hate it as much as you seem to do.

Ye sorry for hotlink but just thought id post them to show off cosmetic damage also looks nice to me i really need to buy a HDTV at somepoint dosnt look bad on what i use though mind.

Its on the main forza forum i think the guy bandwith must be through the roof amount of people on there im sure it been linked on countless other forums.

Yes, it's pretty sad they are so low-res. Even official screens show it. They look fine from far, but once you get relatively close (it's not even that close damn it!) they look just like those shots you posted.

And for those who want to try something fun, fire up PGR3 right after playing the FM2 demo..........what can I say that I haven't said before, I'd just add that it is amazing how much great lighting can do for a game's graphics. Wow.

1) If you go too fast, when you turn the wheel the car will slide out.

2) If you go too slow and tried to accelerate while leaving the turn, even gently, it'll start to slide.......if you don't accelerate to that point, you just won't accelerate faster than with the other cars.

But if you guys like it and do better with it than the other cars, OK.

Now, I swear I hadn't seen this video before, but they also say the Sagaris is a little tail-happy, I guess that speaks a lot of Forza 2's physics right? It shouldn't be that hard to mimic, but it's not like this is the only thing they have nailed.

I think its all been said hundreds of times in regards to forza 2 and pgr3, but people seem intent on rubbing it in.

Well put it this way lightweight design Rear Wheel Drive + 400bhp = tail happy crazy

Oh and it does not come with driving aids such as traction control or electronic stability control so you can guess the rest. :)

Edit: and in Forza 2 you will be able to increase that horsepower to silly ludicrous bhp hmm now that should be fun. lol

Yes like in forza 1 but i did not have an Xbox before Playstation always been. :)

Not like i have not modded a car in other games ie Gran Turismo and Test Drive Unlimited.

Oh and to add from what i read although cant comment because never played forza 1 in 2 it will have more customisation options.

But what i do know it certainly has more layers then Forza 1 4,100 in Forza 2 i see Forza 1 only had 600 looking up info.
