Not having F1 has nothing to do with a track being in the game. PGR had it for example.

Poor wording on my part, I mean they probably won't start another marketing campaign during the F1 event like they did with Le Mans. They'd be more into GT racing and the likes.

thats where forza 3 shines this time around imo... the tracks. the cars look so so, but the tracks look great.

they both suffer some major texture tiling tho (grass of GT, sand trap of forza) but i guess at car level and at 150 mph you're not really gonna notice.

On Forza 3, I can only see "Major texture tiling" on the sand, on GT5 its pretty much everywhere, the background look like GT4 upscaled in that pic.

seeing as the cars dont look realisic in the slightest (more like toy cars), i'd say it was so so, a lot of visible polys too. they're par for the course in terms of racing games this gen imo, like the new need for speed or GRiD. that isnt some sort of insult btw. it just isnt standing out as anything Z0MG! worthy car wise (unlike GT which i think anyone with eyes can see has the better looking cars, although as you said, the tracks fall short). tracks look great tho (aside from the tiling, but again, you dont really play using a camera 20 ft in the air, so you wont see it)

Hmn....Now you are exaggerating. They do look realistic to a point. And I have seen only one shot were you can see "a lot of visible polys". Anything more is just an exaggeration.

That looks like an insult to this game considering NFS has these sort of car models:

And GRID being no more than a looker which does not even look FM3 good. It does not even look NFS:S good

Besides, ANY racing game will have SOME obvious and visible polygons. Specially on headlights.

Funny. If anyone has praised the cars in GT, and how realistic it can and often does look it's me, but if anyone is not being objective here it's you. So you admit GT tracks fall short. I think they are often down right ugly and lacking in details. Of course, you couldn't just say it, you had to say the "tracks look great tho", then go ahead and dismiss the whole thing altogether by saying that you won't see it anyway because you won't use a camera 20ft in the air :|

PGR4 is more friendly to play, try the demo you might like it, also try Dirt. But yeah, nothing as fun or basic as mario kart on 360 as far as i know :(

MadDemon Personnellement j'ai pas du tout accroché à la démo de Hell is us. C'est pas mauvais mais je sais pas, pas envie de poursuivre l'aventure. (il y a 2 Heures)
