I just pre-ordered this. I don't own Halo 3 and have only played the beta and most of the SP with friend. So I guess I'll get my moneys worth content.

Just incase you didn't know, you can't play Halo 3 MP with the ODST disc. So even though you get all the maps you still need the Halo 3 disc to play them.

The game is two discs, one is ODST and the Firefight MP and the other is the complete playable Halo 3 MP.

Aye, you'll be able to play Halo 3 MP with ODST... that's the whole deal with the second disc.

Got the game today, I'm about 1 hour into the campaign. Started out solo on heroic cause my friends don't have it yet. I'm loving it so far. It really plays different from your normal Halo. The pistol is cool, it's weak against shields so it's just there for head shots, love killing a few grunts at distance with it... bip, bap, bam. Also the SMG is much better this time around, I always hated it. They finally added recoil and it's great. Pretty accurate when scoped, but it's always the first I drop in order to get a better one.

You don't have that much ammo so you have to pick up the covenant weapons, sometimes you have to do it on the fly while you're fighting. It can get very intense especially since the pistol works great with a lot of different combos, that's why I never ditched it.

Also played some firefight alone. Just went through the first stage and it was quite a challenge. It's actually better than I could imagine, it basically is the action of the campaign ten fold and non stop. You can pull out some great plays, and you need to since killing the enemy as fast as possible is top priority... they'll overwhelm you otherwise. I kinda was surprised when the last wave dropped a large group of Brutes + 2 Chieftains on top of my head. I have to get some buddies together and play with them... :)

I thought my copy would be delivered today but I think the post people are on strike. Should be on my doorstep tomorrow morning. Can't wait.

Nice, I finished it yesterday, too. Although I think the ending was a bit anticlimactic it was generally enjoyable, some of the dialogues were even funny despite the horrible localisation.

I played on some of the new MP maps already and imo the citadel is the best map Bungie ever put out. The Mythic playlist is crowded with lvl 50s and I had some of the most enjoyable matches already.

Wahoo picked it up, will play it tomorrow.
