The space combat video seems to suggest that we'll board the UNSC space ship. Cool, I wonder if it'll be somewhat similar to Pillar of Autumn level from Halo CE. Environments wise, we already have direct references to the Halo level (tundra) and the outdoors part of Truth & Reconcilliation (night time with purple ambience on a hill-side). I hope we'll get spiritual successors to Silent Cartographer and Assault on the Control Room, then all the best moments of halo 1 will be covered :)

Well it's nothing new. In Halo 2 you also went into space and had to fend off attacking Elites. But it was really lame, more sluggish movement was all there was to it. I hope they come up with a clever gameplay twist this time. Zero G would be fucking awesome.

Yeah, that's why I said we've already fought them. It's not really new at all. They look fuckin' awesome though!

Oh, I know, lol :P

However, this feels different because you are literally flying out into space yourself, engaging in ship to ship space combat, something that you as the player have full control over, and then on top of all that, you board another ship after just engaging in space combat. Pretty exciting. And you're boarding a ship during the battle of Reach no less. I mean, it's a strong possibility the exit from that ship will end in a chain of explosions.

Yeah, probably my fav Halo map of all time. The fact that it's now even bigger and better looking has me really happy. I'm wondering if the huge increase in size will make it possible to be a Firefight map as well? That could be a VERY fun map for a firefight mode IMO.

The CTF games alone are just gonna feel so great. Makes me wanna get some lan parties together just for old times sake. Beer, Pizza, and Halo. Doesn't get much better than that.
