Anyone know what time this VGA stuff happens in GMT?
In my area (California) they will air it at 5-7PM Pacific (which is GMT-8), and then again from 7-9, and 9-11, lol.

Supposedly it's 2 minutes and 30 seconds worth of actual in-game footage and you actually get to see boots hit the ground and action take place, as well as meet some of the game's characters.

I'm looking to be impressed, especially with the animation.

We get to see boots hit the ground... awesome, i really hope there Timberland boots there decent quality, but knowing my luck it will be Dr Martins..

The graphics show an incredible improvement, should be the best looking 360 game next year, but the cutscene itself was dull.

And yay, Elites are back (hardly any news, but it's always great to see one :D)

Yea, the cutscene wasn't anything mindblowng with explosions and such. It was only a simple taste of the engine and a brief introduction of characters, but visually it's very strong. I can only imagine how the game could look during actual action. I'm very pleased to see the animation improvements.

Finally going realistic with the visuals and it seems to have paid off!

Loved the warpaint on that one suit, Forza style painting would be awesome!

I don't think it's realistic so much as it's night and thus muted. I mean Kelly is still proper candyland blue the way it should be. With all the Modern Warfares zipping around our heads out there, we certainly don't need Halo to head that way aswell.

I'm wondering about Kelly though. In "The Package" her voice had no hint of an accent, but it sounded like that to me here?

That's one of the most pleasing things for me. Of course, in order to pull off a grittier look you need to have a beautiful engine driving it - Reach looks to have that, based on what is supposedly an in-game cinematic.

I can't wait to see/hear more about it. Let the hype begin!

@ Simon: Yeah, it's not entirely realistic, but it's certainly a lot more toned down compared to what we usually associate a Halo game with.

Yeah I forgot that Kelly -in the books- has a strong Russian accent.
