Don't ask any questions just shut up and buy Halo : Ghosts of the Onyx one of the greatest books ever.
gameplay has yet to be determined though
Finish The Fight Sept. 25th
Halo 3 Bitches!!!
Beware, Heretic is on the prowl!!!
Here however the framerate is VASTLY improved, and if it still employs roughly the same mechanics it's gonna be great.
The atmosphere is absolutely perfect in this vid too. The original killzone had that going for it a lot.. this.. hard to put your finger on atmosphere and intensity and.. If Gears was the sense of everything BEING destroyed then Killzone is the feeling before that. On the edge of losing all hope, being in the defining moment of everything either going to hell or not going to hell but for a huge cost.
I've heard that indeed, the Helghast are controlling the weather/atmosphere, absorbing lightning with those huuge weapons and directing it back at people. That's apparently what strikes the carrier at the start of the trailer.
Man it's a long wait until we get to play this. :( From what I've heard (again) though is that beyond the initial release there'll be several episodes released on PSN.

I hope they have some kind of beta demo before the game is released.
all good things must come to an end
Posting on the killzone.com forums, Seb Downie (under the alias 'motherH') revealed: "Of course there is going to be a public beta. I have always said that any game that has an online mode needs to go through a public beta to ensure it works as intended."
Downie ends his message by insinuating that more information will be revealed later in the year. Both the original Killzone and the PSP follow-up, Killzone: Liberation, went through public beta testing, so this should come as no surprise.

* helghast react to each bullet hit in different ways, body dynamics etc
* the weather plays a big part in the game, but more of this will be revealed at E3
* and that the online servers are like worlds, if helghast are dominating the servers, then the maps will look more run down, if ISA dominate then there will be citizens living in the maps!
looks like first 2 is true maybe third aslo
I Also remember that GG soon will have some dev conference in UK maybe they will show something new there

Anyways its still very far from completion so I hope they do up the texture quality. Im glad to see they removed the motion blur too.

Invasion of Helghan must be a last measure to stop the onslaught of Helghast on Earth, otherwise it seems like an awfully cold thing to do, to just go there and start killing people when they were outcast and sent there to begin with.
Still, the game looks impressive for many other reasons.

games if yo ask me but you get to have better things thanks to the cell, the AI and stuff like that.
Assassin's Creed-Blue Dragon-Lost Odyssey-Eternal Sonata-Final Fantasy XIII-Cry On-Ninja Gaiden 2-Heavenly Sword-Devil May Cry 4-Resident Evil 5-Naruto 360-Mass Effect-Alan Wake-Too Human-Infinite Undiscovery-Metal Gear Solid 4-The Last Remnant
As for textures I'm - as I've made people aware for a year or so now :D refered to as the hairy nipple effect - really not bothered. Once shit starts blowing up and you start shooting you just never notice them anyway. Enviromental effects, shit going on, things flying through the air, and a sense of scale - stuff like that I value a hundred times more and that's clearly what they're going for. Pause MGS4 trailers and check out the texture quality and it's like someone chewed on them and spit them out, and once you press play again it doesn't matter.
The fans have spoken. Concerning the graphics of the Halo 3 Beta: "There's so many little effects and things going on that make this game pretty much 2nd only to Gears at the moment."
