Mass Effect 2 Thread

I know it's just a gameplay snippet, but ME2 is looking so much better than the first game. Seriously, the gameplay looks way more intense and interesting; the graphics look incredible; and the presentation has somehow managed to top ME1. I couldn't be more impressed.

This has officially shot right up to the top of my wanted list already.

Wow, incredible. Thinking it's still far away from ending up in my Box is killing me. And then the teasing on the E3, it WILL kill me. ^^

HOLY CRAP!!

That was amazing!!, i cant belive its so far off, it looks so polished already and the graphics look so much better the lighting and the skin textures are just so much better now and the combat looks to be so much more intense, sucks that i am going to miss the EA live conf i hope you can re-watch the conf soon after somewhere? hope to see much much more footage.

I have to steal a cliffy saying here, its looking to be Bigger Better and more BadAss!! :D

Hopefully they are taking the extra time to make sure there is more than two types of generic base on the unchartered planets :)

PS: Bioware's Twitter says there will be Mass Effect / IPhone news today.

Thats for certain, they keep on harping on about that so i'm sure that has been addressed.

I think the character from the iPhone game could be the Black sqaud member from the new trailer?

That trailer gave me goose bumps all over! Truly Unbelievable! Combat/Graphics/Art looks to be all greatly improved, I simply cannot wait!!

I'm really digging the new animations. It looks much more fluid and the visual representation for the shields look fantastic :D

So far its only been annouced for the 360/PC.

The gameplay is one of the things that Casey is very proud of in the strides they have made with ME2, also the graphics have improved lots also, in particular the lighting improvements have made it look astonishingly "real" and i love the improved textures on the armours and the much more detailed environments.

Yea I don't recall that either...

So I guess that neogaf thread I read a few months back was bs when they claimed EA confirmed a ps3 release as well? I was interested in this because my cousin had his 360 stolen and his favorite game is mass effect so he was thinking about buying another 360, but there would be no need for him to do so if it were going to ps3. Guess it's time for him to shell out for another 360 :D

Anyway enough of that, seriously delgado the game looks so great. I seriously want it right now. Only game I'll be playing from now until Mass Effect 2 is Mass Effect 1 unless Assassin's Creed 2 comes out first. Some occasional NBA 2K9 as well :P

Will be playing ME1 again very soon, that and Dragon Age will have to be my RPG fix until ME2 arrives. Oh and dont forget the ME1 DLC that is coming very soon :)
