I'm pretty sure that like most of their games it will come down to one key (and obvious) decision and it will be easy to reverse if you save often. I would be pretty shocked if that weren't the case.

Just say'n.. they made it sound like your decisions throughout KOTOR would effect its outcome, but when it came right down to it there was one key moment that could swing the ending either way.

Casey is being much more vocal about it this time, i guess it depends how long the final mission is, as you have to do it over from the very begining if things dont go to plan for Sheps and his crew.

Know what I think Bioware is doing on last mission? I think they are going to give you a timed mission without actually letting you know it's a timed mission and depending on how long you take, Sheperd will live or die :)

I dont thinks its timed, it sounds like its going to be very cinematic, squads members turning on you or dieing depending on how well they respect you or how well they are equipped/trained?

Eh..........don't be put off by that. Bioware also hinted that your character could die in Jade Empire as well. And you DID die. And you also came back to life! lol!

if your Shepard dies in the end of Mass Effect 2, that’s the end of him / her. In that case, you can play Mass Effect 3 as “a” Shepard – just not “your” Shepard. As in real life, not being able to keep living is really the main down-side of death. So if you care about playing the next game with your character, make sure you survive this one.

This was the most intriguing thing I've read about ME2 so far. I get the feeling that if your Shepard actually survives the loss could be far greater than losing an Ash or a Kaiden. It might mean sacrificing Earth or some other world. I guess it would depend on what you're willing to live with in Mass Effect 3 in order to keep your Shepard alive after ME2.

Yeah, it sounds like that, a terrible situation either way isn't it? I plan to play with my Shepard the whole trilogy!

This answers allot of questions, also it should give some relief for those who thought they concentrated on combat to much at the E3 demo.

“You demonstrated feature X, so does that mean you’ve forgotten about feature Y?”

Some worry that by emphasizing certain things in the E3 demo, it means we’ve forgotten about other elements. Not so of course. When you take a game to E3, you really have to focus the message down to something razor-sharp, to cut through all the noise of the show. In our case, it was the key differences between Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 that we wanted to emphasize – and we didn’t even have enough time in our slot to show them all! Examples of things we did not show but are definitely in the game are:
a completely new and beautifully-handling vehicle, richer and more diverse Uncharted World locations, new space exploration interactivity, systems for character progression, new weapon and armor customization, other cool characters (some new and some you know from the first game), and a ton of content and features.

“Do I need fast reflexes to use the Interrupt system?”

Interrupts are not meant to be “quick time events”. They are additional options that can appear throughout an NPC’s line that allow you to take a more physical action versus one of the verbal responses. You don’t need to fixate on a part of the screen – a flashing icon will catch your attention in your peripheral vision when it is available. A red icon on the left of the conversation wheel means you can pull the left trigger to fire a hostile interrupt. A blue one on the right side means you can pull the right trigger to do a heroic interrupt. This system allows you to really throw your weight around and get involved in more dynamic interactions with other characters.

EA’s released Mass Effect Galaxy, the iPhone bridge between the franchise’s first and second games.
It’s on the App Store now for £2.99.
You really may as well. Assuming you’ve got an iPhone or iPod Touch, obviously.

Oh and Day one for me also on any ME1 dlc content.

Half way through the iPhone game and i have to say i'm enjoying it, there is some slowdown when the combat get's frantic but the story is not bad and jacob and mirander are starting to grow on me, not bad for £2.99 :)
