Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)

Just make sure that before you land on Haestrom or whatever it's called to recruit Tali, switch the difficulty to Hardcore or Insane. Do it before you land and search for it in the room Tali is in after you take out the Geth Colossus. Taking out the Geth and the Colossus on Hardcore or Insanity is no easy skip through the tulips. Bring the Cain with you to take that bad boy out with one shot, and have squad mates that can fry shields and synthetics. Don't be in any particular rush and it should all be over in about 20 minutes.
Afterwords you switch the difficulty back and you'll have IMO the best damn rifle in the game. And unlike the Revenant, you'll be able to equip your AR using squad mates with it as well. With your AR upgrades maxed out, the Geth rifle becomes unstoppable.
Just one more thing. If the class you're using doesn't have AR training, be sure to select AR training on the Collector ship or none of this will work.

Anyway I finally got Yeoman Kelly to do her dance for me in the Captain's quarters. And she really worked it! lol!
Prepare To Drop!!
Hated the lack of inventory and simplified (lazy) weapon and armor management. very poor. also terribly boring planet scanning.
Was also a bit let down with how some of my squad mates died on the last mission. I know this is probably connected to some of the decisions i took, but it's not very clear and a bit inconsequential. I would like to have known that some actions I was taking involved risks of losing people, and I wanted to decided whether or not to take these actions. The way it was just felt absolutely random...a bit disappointing. Specially i lost Miranda, and she was such an important character throughout the game, and lots of emotional involvement with other characters (namely me) and then she just dies and Shepard just takes it as if it's the most normal thing. Very disappointing. But this is only because the game is so good and tries and manages to do so many things so well, that I was a bit letdown with these minor things.
Overall, one of the best i've played recently.
I've managed to have dinner with her, and already finished the game. Had romance with jack, maybe now it's not possible anymore?

Also kelly was totally not worth it :P

It's very clear from the start that this is a suicide mission. I've never seen a definition of "suicide" that didn't involve someone dying. The people you send to do certain tasks NEED to be loyal, or else someone dies and depending on the conditions it can hit anyone on your team, loyal or not. When Miranda says "any Biotic can make a barrier", it doesn't mean everyone is as capable of guiding you through the seeker swarm, Jack or Samara are the obvious choices. Do their recruitment missions and you know why.
Imo, this is one of the greatest aspects of the game. Shepard is not the all mighty hero any more, he needs his crew (literally or he will also die in the end. Gaining your comrades' trust is a way to get to know them and trusting them as well (I wouldn't trust Ashley one second, cold blooded Wrex murderer). I've never felt so attached to my NPC buddies in a game before, each had their unique story to share and each was a very personal matter. That's why for instance, I send Samara to take the second team to the first rally point. It was a character I could fully trust and she resembles everything that is needed to get this job done: She's the very definition of determination, a leader and I could trust she'd never betray my own interests.
Of course you also have to make sensible decisions at the end as to who does what and make sure that they are well qualified and trustworthy fro the job, or that will hasten there demise also

Did you read what I wrote? I did all the recruitment and loyalty missions! Of course miranda was the biotic I sent to create the shield, and still, miranda died
I'm re-enforcing my disappointment because like you I've never felt so attached to characters in a game, so that's why I think their death is so gratuitous and inconsequent. I compared to a friend, and both of us sent Tali, tech expert to the heat tunnels (in the suicide mission), both of us had them all as loyals, and she died with me, and not with him.
Again, the fact that no one can point me out what the reasonfor this happening is only reinforces my point that it's unclear, random and forced.
Of course you also have to make sensible decisions at the end as to who does what and make sure that they are well qualified and trustworthy fro the job, or that will hasten there demise also
and do some of the random discoverable missions.
One question though, how does one continue the game if on would like to, in the case that shepard dies. Is the only way restarting?
