While I acknowledged what deft said, this isn't some stand alone content that some post production spin off team created. Nobody really believes that. And this character that just so happens to fit on the last empty space on the ship?

Along with her character, Yvonne Strahovski's voice work for Miranda was done a long time ago, long before the promotional period. There are gameplay videos that have Miranda acknowledging Kasumi and objecting to her being selected as the tech specialist in the final run.

No deft isn't. I've no idea what they've said on the matter actually.

My point was that the content isn't on the disc, ala Bioshock 2 and unlocked with a 108KB token. That some assets are there, or even that it's content cut and/or planned for during production doesn't change that.

Like I said, whether it's worth whatever they charge for it or not is up to you but it's not automatic that they would have spent the time & resources shipping it in the final product in the absence of a DLC plan either.

I'm surprised how varied the missions are in ME2, the DLC doesn't seem to make an exception. Her powers looked very cool, they battled without armour.... etc.

If the DLC costs 560 MSP for 1 char with 1 mission, what do you think a proper expansion would cost? And how much content do you think they would include?

£20 for 4 missions and a couple of costumes maybe, if youre lucky. Im sorry, but I said 400 points was my absolute limit for this and im sticking by that, I dont see value for my money there.

How about the same they charged for the DA.O expansion, that would do me, and for those don't want to pay for it, don't!.

@Blackhawk: I have a feeling with ME2 they are going to just do quest and character PDLC, i'd love for them to do an expansion but i don't see it really.

What i was trying to get at is that if they DID an expansion, it would cost FAR more than the DA:O expansion, purely based on the fact that they are charging so much for 1 mission. I dont mind if they do a proper expansion, but it has to demonstrate value for money, not the current pricing structure.

£4.80 actually. I doubt it'll last 2 hrs, most of the main missions in ME2 last 30 - 60 mins and i doubt this will be much different. We'll see when it comes out, just right now i don't think it's of reasonable value, as i said, based on perceived value from proper expansions and full retail games this just doesnt compare favourably.

Well, basing on the opinions on the forum the Firewalker DLC is one big pile of crap. Well, not that I'm surprised, 95% of DLC is crap anyway. Still, shame on Bioware for another shitty DLC after all those promises they made after ME1 DLC failures...
