Well, atleast my Shepard lol.

I'm on my second pot of coffee. I've been playing for about 11hrs with one break in-between. I ordered a large stuffed pizza, but I haven't actually had a slice yet. That's just how into this game I've been.

It's been really cool so far, even if at times some of the things Shep is running around doing feels amazingly stupid and mundane. But the thing is that every single request, mission and person you help contributes to your overall war assets number. And I'm told that the number needs to REALLY HIGH if you want to even stand a chance of coming out of this with even a half bad ending. Somewhere between 4000-5000 in Assets and nothing less than 100% War readiness will do.

Right now if I actually had a complaint it would be that there's an awful lot of auto-dialog in this game. Basically everyone's been given the Zaeed/Kasumi treatment as no one really has that much to say on board the Normandy in the early going, but now as I've entered certain areas of the story everyone seems to be opening up a bit more. Hopefully this will continue to improve, so I'll hold off complaining about that.

Cerberus has become a big fat joke, and not the funny kind either. They have starbases, cruisers, fighters, legions of troops, moles in just about every government and organization, and they seem to be attacking from EVERYWHERE AT ONCE. This is a pretty serious inconsistency as TIM is responsible for resurrecting Shepard, making it seem like he was the only man for the job. What we find in ME3 is that TIM needed absolutely no help from anyone. In fact from what I've played so far, TIM could have thrown Cerberus at the Alliance using unconventional war tactics and brought them to a frustrating defeat.

The Protheon (the Day 1 DLC) is actually pretty damned cool. I can't figure out if he sounds like Danny Glover or Calvin Lockhart (played King Willie in Predator 2). I'm playing an Adept for my first run through and the way The Protheon and my character compliment each other's combat styles is very satisfying. The Protheon specializes in some kind of dark energy biotic talent that when combined with other biotics creates explosions that take everyone out and then vaporizes them. MONSTROUS.

Well that's it for now. I'm going to eat, watch at little news because I've literally been in a dark room playing for hours and need to know what's going on in the world. lol

How "fixed" is the retail compared to the demo?
Framerate, bugs, running animations...etc.

The running animation is still laughably bad.

Running animation is the same. lol You can't holster weapons either. It's really goofy looking, but you pay less attention to it as you go along.

Also, whats all this nitpicking on not being able to holster a weapon?
During combat, its up, during regular exploration...i am guessing its down?

Damn, the first mission got me hooked again like 10 minutes into the game. I'm glad they were offering English VOs as a download right from the start (1,4 gb), so much better. Really awesome so far.
