Just finished watching the new amazing Battlestar Galactica Razor mini film aired on Saturday, man these guys must have been following the Mass Effect development, so many similarities hell they even have a bit were they sent in there squad to nuke a space facility used to breed hybrids, the plan goes to shit and the commander has to choose who to leave behind to detonate the nuke! and themselves along with the facility all i could think was were's Kaiden when you need him ;)

No decoy, the main mission is rather short and the side missions are mostly the same (sack that offworld desighner) but none the less its still absolutely brilliant :D

Just more substance next time please bioware

I agree the worlds without colonies were dsigraceful, like i said before, randomized terragen maps with a couple objects thrown on, i mean, i can understand cause they did make about 15 of them, but a little more effort could have been put it, just makes the game feel really cheap and ugly when your going round these worlds, invading Compounds or tunnels, all of which are the same, so overall there are about 4 different models? Over around 15+ planets

(Circular compound, Regular square compound, Underground Mine and spacecraft)

But i think thats what makes this game so great, even though at points it can really stink, you still cant help but absolutely love it.

Just like halo 1 to me with all its bad parts the over all goodness is overwhelming and lets you forgive, but hopefully unlike halo 2 i hope it corrects its mistakes, listens to the fanbas and understand what we want changing for the next one

Yeah Oblivion had some of the most repetetive dungeons out there ... they all looked the same, but damn, they was all built different, and if you watch the making of, he makes it looks so sodding simple lol

Finally had some time today to play it... I love it!

Although framerate could be better (it's ok in cutscenes and combat, but I don't like it in exploration :( ).

there was an instance where i had to actually re-load the game becasuse the framerate dropped so much, i just exited a mine onto a uncharted planet and it was like a slideshow, 5FPS tops. even the pause menu had framerate issues. it was horrible, but it only happened once. although the whole game has never stayed smooth for more then 5 mins. its a pitty really. in terms of presentation its pretty amazing, i just wish the performance was up to scratch

also, i cant believe people didnt know about the rocket launcher (i still think it feels more like a shotgun tho)

I keep hearing about these framerate issues but I have still to really see anything noticeable, which is strange as I've played over 45 hours combined, and have done 90% of the sidequests along with the main mission. I remember DC was skeptical about this too, and now that I think about we both still have our launch consoles...yeah, ok, 99% no connection there, but its still strange hearing about these issues when I've seen nothing (except crazy-ass pop-in) during my 45 hours of bliss exploring the galaxy.

And yeah, its crazy to hear about people only just finding the rocket launcher, I seriously don't know what I would have without it.
