New Witcher 2 - Announced coming to the Xbox360

I am well into Chapter 1 and so far I am loving it, this is by far the best RPG I have played since finishing Knights of the Old Republic back when it came out on PC in 2002 or 2003. Been a long ass time!

Lets hope it keeps delivering

The game is awesome but they really need to fix alot of technical issues before they bring it to the 360.

Yeah, my favorite bug that i've found so far is that the game freezes if you die during a QTE. I caught fire, started QTE, died during and bam, reload that shit. Things like that has hppened probably every time i've sat down to play the game. SO yeah, some bug fixing would be nice, though the latest 1.1 oatch fixes a bunch of issues and boosts performance a bit.

Weird you guys seem to have a lot of problems. My game has crashed only once and I'm about 30 hours into it (still at the beginning of chapter 2)....

I'm glad they released it to PC first so I don't have to listen to the console bigots whining about it and that features and performance weren't sacrificed. But I already bought this game for PC (haven't played it yet) and don't have any plans to buy the console version which I know will be a step down, but I hope the 360 gamers strongly support it. Good devs should be rewarded with great sales.

Yes!!! This is great news, tried to play this on my gaming rig, but it ran awful and was a complete bug fest!, i'll wait until it hits the 360 later this year as i prefer the setup i have in my living room instead :)

pre-alpha 360 demo show :)
No Sacrafice
All the great mature content of the PC version will make it into the Xbox 360 version. With an ESRB rating already established for the game on PC every drop of blood, coarse language and sensual piece of flesh will not be censored.
• Free DLC
CD Projekt RED has a philosophy of never charging for DLC on PC. This will hold true for Xbox 360. On top of that all PC DLC will be made available for the console version. As for exclusive DLC... well nothing has been decided as of yet.
• Focused Experience
CD Projekt RED is making sure that the Xbox 360 version is not only as competent as the PC version, but entices those who have already played the Witcher to on PC reason to double-dip. Kinect support is ruled out and as of right now the ability to remap buttons cannot be confirmed.
• Stunning Graphics While The Witcher 2 is still in its pre-alpha phase of development, the game is already shaping up to be one of the most visually stunning games for the Xbox 360. Though some slight hiccups in the frame rate and some lip syncing issues were ein the demo, these bugs were very minor as everything else was quite stunning. The draw distance and lighting looked spectacular and the art design hasn’t lost any noticeable detail.

The version we saw was a pre-alpha build, so it did not represent how the game will look at release. But our first reaction was, "Hey, this game looks really great on the Xbox 360." CD Projekt is aiming for the equivalent of the PC version's medium settings on the Xbox 360

I think it will happen for sure man, the reason I think they didn't do it now I believe is because they are very small company, don't have that much resources to do both, I think a Spring 2012 for PS3 is reasonable.

game disappoints in the end sadly...the story makes no sense most of the time unless you read all the stuff or have beaten Witcher 1. And the game is on the short side... :(

No where near KOTOR quality IMO....

It was worth $39.99, looking forward to the next game by CDProject
