Driftwood @TheDud: pourquoi tu ne peux pas commenter là-bas ? Rage 2 je n'y ai pas trop joué donc pas certain. Soit c'est bien Ratchet, soit un autre jeu m'échappe. :) (il y a 8 Heures)

"On tonight's edition of Orange Lounge Radio, (click here for our podcast feed, look for episode 198 A) our faithful co-host LOKI brought us some juicy tidbits from a recent sales meeting that he attended which involved high-up sales associates from various companies.
As everything reported anywhere on the internet, take it with a grain of salt, but a lot of it sounds very legit, and came from the mouths of sales associates from these companies, so we pass it on to you on the internet to get you pumped up for this exciting holiday season!"
Sega
* No charge for online aspect of PSU on XBOX 360. There will be a monthly fee for PS2 and PC users.
* Sonic: Secret Of The Rings for Wii coming Mar. ’07 (not at launch)
* No Full Auto 2 for the XBOX 360 at all. The first one did not sell well so they will not be making a sequel for the XBOX 360.
Consider me sold if true.

A blog for the serious gamer.
I like the no monthly fee for PSU though, it shouldn't have a fee anyway, its not an MMOG nor will it be updated regularly like one.

But I HIGHLY doubt it's true, as Sega has been on this "give us all your money for subpar wares" kick lately

From what I gather they were rather pleased with the sales of Full Auto on the 360, many thanks to the demo that penetrated a few cynics coming off the mostly harsh reviews. At least sales were cited as the reason for the sequel's green light. So, a breath of relief closet Full Auto fans, it'll prolly come back to the 360 at some point.
AETOA is currently under reconstruction, so it'll look a bit funky for a while.

Take one 360, add some chopped PS3, stir in some Wii, a sprinkling of DS Lite. Enjoy :)
Fanboy=Ban boy.
Oh, Lollercoster at Sega thinking that FA2 will sell better on the PS3 than the x360. The game didn't sell because it sucked, not because people are unwilling to buy sega games.
It's gonna take more from sega to get me excited about their games comming out, especially after the altering of Yakuza (because someone at SOA missed the fucking point) and the Armored Core 4 Faggotry.

And you're criticizing them mostly as a publisher it seems, since it's all about bashing Full Auto and how AC4 is being handled--two games that Sega has very little to do with the developement of--if you're going to go that direction, than you might as well count Condemned--in which case, at $60 we've only recieve what, two sega titles? At a quality ratio of what... 1:1?
If you're a Sega hater, they aint changing your mind. Sega's real fanbase knows that they haven't lost their touch--PSU looks good, Yakuza (despite being "altered") looks good as is recieving possitive reviews (of the translated version), Condemned proves that they're open to new ideas as a Japanese publisher..so go on with your Sega hatin self. If it takes more than great games to make you care about great games--than well, I don't think it's SOA that's missing the point.
I haven't been all that impressed with Sega since they stopped making their own hardware.
Sure VF and Sega Rally will always be great, but they haven't brought out a brilliant or new game idea for ages (besides Shenmue lol) saying that i haven't played Yakuza but i doubt it would interest me.
However I don't consider games such as Chromehounds, AC4, Condemned and Full Auto much to do with Sega really as they didn't develop them.

Sure, Sonic Team's made themselves sorta look like a joke lately--but personally I think it all makes sense--Sonic took a back seat during the developement of PSU, and he's getting plenty of attention with this new installment it seems.
How in the world could you have no interest in Yakuza if you're a fan of Shenmue?
Oh and Yakuza 2 is already heading for PS3.

It's currently @ 81% on gamerankings--last I checked 81% was somewhat above average--I do believe on some scales 81% would actually be better than good--some may even say great.

There's not a single Sega era, Master System, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, or Third Party where they haven't made quality products. (AND crap)
I get that Sega's development teams have been taking their time in prepping their new titles for the new generation. But their publishing aspects have been....how can I say...aweful. Their furthering decisions regarding AC4, Yakuza, Chromehounds and Full Auto 2 don't make me terribly confident either.
Like I said, if PSU has no montly fee on the x360, I'm there like shareware. But given Sega's poor judgement over the past 6 months or so, I can't see it being true.
I do think Sega deserves some cred for their in house stuff still.
Their publishing business is rooted in one thing alone - profits. Shit games sell too.
