Thats a horrendous mess that pretty much craps over the games nice graphics IMO.

But yea I mean like a small version in the top right of the screen. (you must know what a minimap is ?)

Then no. There is currently only this Diablo 2 style overlay map... but they are going to make modifications to it.
Minimap

We have substantial plans for the minimap, so it offers more contrast against all the different environments we support. We’re going to offer some options to change its size/position also, so that players who don’t want to see through it have some relief. Many people have asked for a mode where it’s in the corner of the screen.

It's not very good. It has a lot of potential but the current areas and mobs are really dull, and the POV is a real problem. The camera is set way, way too close to the characters. It makes actual dungeon (interior) navigation a real bitch. You really can't see shit. It's a bit of a shame, since it has some really cool features and functions, but I'll just wait for Diablo 3, playing Grim Dawn and Torchlight 2 along the way (if they make it).

Hey that's just how I feel. Maybe you'll dig it. I think there's some promising stuff in there too.. the POV is a real issue for me.

Yeah I'm going to give it a go, I purposely avoided reading up on anything about it -- So I'm flying blind (how I like).

I'm a big fan of Titan Quest, and I cannot wait for Grimdawn to be honest. I'll post my feelings here after I give this game some hours.

So uh.. boy have I changed my tune on this game. It's amazing.

The active skill system offers a ton of variety and has a pretty profound impact on itemization. And then that passive tree offers you a degree of depth in stat building that is currently unheard of in the genre.

And the potion system. And the economy. This game is just filled to be brim with clever systems. I'm so happy I gave it another go after its release.

It's now my favorite loot game since Diablo 2. If you like this genre.. give this a real go.

The death penalty is also good. Harsh enough to make it count (on cruel+) without being horrific.

It absolutely has co-op, although I've been soloing most of the game. Isomac and myself are playing in the Domination League. League's are temporary. Your domination toon becomes standard when the league is over (Feb. 23rd).

This game is very deep. I highly recommend looking at http://pathofpoe.com/ before spending too many of your passive skill points, just to get an idea of the possibilities at hand.

I just hit level 50 this morning. I'm building a fire/lightning rangers. Currently in Cruel on Act 3. Soloing is beginning to get a little tricky.

Oh.. and save your orbs early.. It's important to understand the economy system before you start blowing valuable currency on shitty items.

Think Diablo 3 has spoilt me, which is by no means a good thing lol.

I played this a couple hours last night. I think I could play it some more.

Likes:
-Graphics/performance
-Economy (once you get the hang of it)
-Jewel modifiers

Dislikes:
-Wildly inaccurate attacks
-Procedural regenerating areas
-Invisible waypoint markers?
-Ice demons (fuck off)

Diablo 3 scratched my itch for a good long while, and for some reason I bought Torchlight 1/2 and never got into them so I didn't want to get into a free game before going through the paid ones. But I find the onset of this game more engaging than I found Torchlight 1 at least, so this has my attention. Grift was a ho and didn't help me in my game btw.

You put randomly generated dungeons into the bad pile in a Diablo clone? SHAME! Waypoints aren't invisible either.. and uh.. click better!? ;)

I'm partly kidding on the last bit. The accuracy stat does come into play, but the game is also really picky/janky about target selection. Sometimes you just need to let go of the attack button for a second and re-target.

I do think targeting could work a little better, but it's not bad. And I think we all wish instances took a bit longer to reset.

Torchlight is a good light dungeon hack. Torchlight 2 is a missed opportunity.

An hour glass in the menu would be nice at least. But I guess it'll give me a chance to grind to get past those ice demons. But nah, the clicking is frustrating going from playing other Diablones. Very weird. I have 90% accuracy and I'm clicking on the red outlined enemies and they're just like "that's nice".

There's also been a lot of lag and desyncing the last couple of days. I think it's fair to put that in the dislike category.

Still.. pretty great.

Cruel is starting to get tough, and dying sucks when there's an actual cost. I may respec into higher health if I can afford to. Seriously. Take care with your passive tree.

Shit gets real after normal.

I'm a little bummed that I did not help Oak in normal. Help Oak in normal. You can change your mind later but it costs 20x orbs of regret! That's about 400 alteration orbs!

    TheDud des ombres douces, c'est assez zinzin. je pense que les passages en foret font être fou. le seul hic pour moi : la route pavée dans les villages qui a pas un très bon rendu (compression de la video ?) (il y a 48 minutes)
