New 8 min video in a familiar location.
How refreshing.
You get to see how those different areas tie together for once.
thanks Simun.
And yeah, you get a better sense of the way the game flows with this video. It seems levels are indeed huge. Dual wielding feels a lot like the original PD too, for some reason. Maybe it's the sounds. :)
Kind of hard to understand what they are talking about, I can only understand a couple of words :)
Co-op will be so fun when you can decide to go different paths like that, and the scale of the levels and the draw distance means you'll actually be able to watch your mate shooting stuff up on the street below a building, or the other way around. It'll be so cool being able to complement eachother's actions like that.
One of my favourite things about co-op in Halo and the like is advancing through a corridor, covering eachother.. crouching next to cover and stuff.. actually seeing eachother doing that just gives me a kick for some reason. This looks to really capitalize on that exact sensation.

ANYWAY
I have to agree about the non-linear aproach on this game... from I have seen there is at least 2 different ways to approach a situation. It would be perfect on co-op to co-oardinate your attack accordingly. ie one person flanks around behind the enemy while you put down some supressive fire to keep their heads down as your partner all ninja like sneaks behind and takes the easy pickins :D
If it's true then.... OMG WTF S1CK J3SUS OMG ROFL JK BBQ
Truly...
Split screen doesn't really bother me as long as the visibility is good though. Halo had great split screen, luckily, and I expect this to have that too.
There are nightmarish examples like Brute Force and Ghost Recon 2, but I'm pretty confident that PDZ will pull it off.
Also, co-op over Live is sweet too, of course, but I'll prolly opt for playing with friends, not total strangers anyhow. :)

to quote
"How intelligent are the ennemies in the game ? We saw at X05 that some ennemis did not react after you shoot them.
That was a bug in the demo version, and it’s been fixed. The enemies work together on small squads, so that a player has to use cover and keep dodging to defeat them. They will also hunt the player down – you really have to keep moving, particularly on the higher difficulty levels."
Doh!!
Didn't know where to post this, but since the playlist has two PDZ songs on it right now I figure it's fair to put it here.

Mansion Infiltration is pure electro spy-thriller and Kameo's Quest has a real spinetingling quality
I did get my ass whooped the first time on that difficulty and i can tell you the enemy's are allot smarter: they take cover, roll out of view, throw nades and stuff.
I loved it...
