Nah, I haven't played for a long time. The only racing game I've been playing lately is Forza 3 (which I haven't finished yet, lol--maybe I won't).

Open that shit and play it! Might as well enjoy Bizarre's work when it's their last game in the franchise. :p
Well, Forza 3 sort of happened, and although I actually got Blur recently, F3 does cover most bases.

yeah, I always dust off PGR4 at least once or twice a month for a couple spins around the track. Easily the best arcade racer so far this gen. Nothing else even comes close IMO.

When they left to make other games it really did break my heart.

Damn, PGR4 still has the most natural, life-like, lighting out there. I've never played PGR4 outside of the demo, i think i'm gonna have to get on to it :)

While it does have amazing lighting, those pics certainly are not what the game looks like on my TV, though it does still have some of the best looking weather and city tracks of this gen.

Much more importantly though, it's still by far one of the most FUN racers this gen. Bizarre really are masters of balancing challenging physics with fun arcade style action. While Blur had some pretty solid aspects to it, it's bland presentation and lack of really exciting power ups didn't make the game something with last power IMO.

I really, really hope they go back to the city track theme and make another game similar to PGR. Games like Dirt, Grid, NFS Shift, etc all are just nothing close to the same quality.
