Im on the 360 version with 1080p selected and the screen tear in the cutscenes is VERY annoying, so much so that my onlookin brother questioned what it was. It's often across the eye area aswell so its very much in your face. Would like to know if other versions or settings could curtail this annoyance.

Since 6859 DaysReally amazing game, and while it didn't have the same impact as RE4, or the length it was immensely enjoyable. Had some very annoying design decision beyond many people's hate of "tank controls":
1. Saving... message keeping the player from pausing at the end of a cutscene
2. Unable to pause during co-op
3. Sheva.
4. Sheva.
5. Sheva.
But still very enjoyable. Would've liked to see a true RE4 sequel. RE4 wasn't very horror like, but I liked its world structure. Mission mode allows me to play parts I liked so I can't really complain. If I want a scare I'll look to Dead Space. And for puzzles Tomb Raider. The puzzles in RE5 were what I'd imagine Croft would come across if she had down syndrome.
Graphics were unbelievable. I'm having a tough time putting this one against Killzone 2 in that department. I'll have to play both again. And I do mean that I'll be playing it again and on Veteran. Such a blast. But I've played it too much today. Head is killing me. The one side effect of playing co-op is that we crack too many jokes and as a result I laugh myself stupid.

Since 6515 DaysOne part I have to tell, not really a spoiler: At the first Boss we had to lure him into the room twice. The second time my frined went into the oven and tryed to lure him in. I pressed the button and then my friend got hurt inside and needed help. I rush in help the him as the doors close. He just makes it and I rush for the door aswell... as it's 3/4 closed already, thinking I'd never make it... ever. Damn I thought I was going to burn inside it, but a little "X" appeared and out of reflex I pressed it, sliding under the door. Never been so releaved after beating a boss...
It really didn't feel like an actionmovie although it looked like that. Most situations are completly unexpected and the level of detail and possibilitys is huge. You have to do yourself the favor and play it with a friend on Veteran... or even higher. ^^
Also the graphics are the best I've seen on a console yet, hands down. I've seen KZ2 at my friends house and even he's admitting RE 5 looks better. It keeps blowing me away as the locations change. The diversity of gameplay is pretty rich, too. Every engagement is diffrent in it's setup and offers some variables on each playthrough. I'm barely half through the game and I'm quite sure it's one of my personal best games this generation already.

Since 6896 DaysPlayed up to 4-1 and got bored of it, its very repetitive stuff (but most games are these days), I'm not sure I see the whole Zomg the grafix either, it's not like im a graphics whore either but to be honest Im not that impressed with it.
And fuck me Sheva is useless.
