I'd punch a baby right now for some good ol' 2v2 Spies vs Mercs WITH mines and spy traps and the spies' little shocker gun/'nade launcher. Still my favourite MP of all time.

Like I said the story was forgettable...btw I didn't want to spoil the game....
Chaos Theory is FAR better than Conviction..its pretty obvious something went terribly wrong during the development process (hence the delays etC)
The game was delayed because the first pitch of the game - shown in a Hitman/Assassin's Creed-esque e3 demo yonks ago - simply didn't gel. It was then scrapped, concepted anew and built from the ground up - over the course of circa 2 years - to be what it is today; which is to say a more Arkham Asylum-esque "overt" stealth game.

The whole thing is just way more coherently told, too, and it figures into the bits and pieces of Double Agent's story that THAT game didn't really do anything with, validating what sounded like an exciting premise for THAT game in the process.

I hated uncharted first time through, it was not what i expected (to be fair i did not look to much into it, but assumed it was a adventure game..) but when i went back to it KNOWING it was a shooter... i loved it second-40th time through
Mass Effect 2, fucking despised this first time through..same again i gave it a second chance and once i had got over the shock of what they had done, it was a damn good game, just not as good as the original
So here i am giving this a 2nd chance after hating it so much
So i went through SP on hard to give the AI a chance...
Seriously this game (sp) is toss compared to past installments, yes double agent aint great but at least you can stealth decently
So i can no longer use my gun as a controlled EMP device to take out bulbs (i understand why he cant do it this time round, but CoOp?)
So i can no longer pickup a body to dump it (shit has hit the fan and had to emergency kill someone, but now his body is in the light...i know shoot the lights..)
So i can no longer break the bulbs using my hands, if no switch around i am forced to use my gun on it, oh the ai has seen a bulb has gone, does he think "fuck me a bulb has blown" no he thinks "WTF SAM FISHER MUST BE HERE AND HE SHOT THE BULB OUT USING HIS SILENCED MK.203 (i made the name of the gun up btw)
so anyone on route past this dead body i have to hide and stock pile them..."you should of grabbed him and carried him to a shaded area" sometimes there is not time to think when the guy just appeared out of thin fucking air.
I know he no longer works at third echelon but.. does that mean he has to forget most his training and skill set? the lack of EMP (the one built in the gun for taking out lights) aside this series just seems to have devolved in one area (the stealth) and evolved else where (the story)
This is a Tom Clancy game, i don't want a fucking story i just want basic plot to give me a reason for what i am doing, and let me be, its ment to be about tactics and stealth, not gun-fucking-ho (which in certain parts of the game are completely unavoidable)
mind you..*looks at Ghost Recon*... i personally don't think ubisoft have a fucking clue what there doing anymore.
CoOp.. holy shit this is fucking ace, much better than the single player game, you can actually 100% stealth the entire lot, i am deeply in love with this mode :D apart from above issues, this is pure bliss :D
As a Splintercell game its SP is shit, the CoOp is great but the lack of SvM is painful, as a game if it did not have the splintercell label and say had "24" on the cover, its brilliant.

I played the vs for a laugh on split screen... holy shit, its bad, REAL bad.. i mean fucking AWFULL!
its spy vs spy both spys have sonar....(night vision that sees through walls...) when spies are in the shadows using "stealth" there clearly visible to the other player, and i mean CLEARLY fucking visible..not like the old games when no matter how much your turned up the brightness they "melded" with the shadows, this is just..wow
seriously its fucking vomit in vs, it makes assasins creeds MP seem like stuff of legend.
What have they done, how did they honestly make this vs compare it to previous games and go "yeah the fans will LOVE this"

Co op is ace though :D but i would sacrifice it in a heart beat to get the good old spy vs merc back.
