i just been mooching around some other forums and came across this,
i thought there was a comparison thread...but i cant find it.
i think these need to be seen to be believed, gotta rush my take away's just been delivered :)

My comments on this game/machine been good or bad does not mean i like/hate the machine i am not a fan nor a hater, just i have a opinion and wish to share it.

Jesus the level of detailed compared is quite frankly shocking is this actually a fair test. ?

The PS3 version looks like a PS2 game having a laugh right. ?

Yeah, but they could put a bit more practice into polishing the games though... ;)

That's pretty sad, I'm sure the PS3 can do much better than that. It goes without saying that Splinter Cell isn't an astonishing looking game by any means. I wonder how the framerate is on PS3.

According to IGN the framerate is worse than that of the 360 version.

I was totally amazed at the comparison here, its just way to big a leap to the 360 version. This cannot in any way be a fair test, 'cause the xbox version of splinter cell looked better than the PS3 version. I'm labelling this a sloppy port of a game made for the 360. That said, score one for the 360!

It is fair, even the PS3 was in more development time than the 360 had, like what, 1 year or so.

Probably a bit of both, if the game had been dev'd with the PS3 in mind and ported to the 360 the same thing would be apparent but reversed.

I think people are blowing this out of proportion to be honest.
