Chanticleer Hegemony
I guess how you view the world is pretty subjective and, although I liked the mysterious, alien nature of Morrowind, I just think Skyrim has a lot more going for it and is generally the more interesting and vibrant. Of course the pretty graphics help. :P
The absence of level scaling would have been appreciated though.

But meh, I am playing other games now, wont play Skyrim anymore, gonna trade it in today.
Bayonetta (I know i am very late but whatever got it from my friend lol), some Batman AC and some LOTR War in the North.

Prepare To Drop!!
Its good, I dont know much of LOTR outside the movies so I am meeting new characters which is nice. Good level varieties and loot, combat is okay it works, very focused on dodge timing to avoid damage which reminds me alot of Ninja Gaiden 1 which is always a plus, and the decapitations was pretty nice. And if you time your block you stun the enemy attack.
Good loot too, alot of it. Nice customizations, some facial changes and alot of equipment and enchanting stuff as well. I am playing as the ranger only but I might give the mage a ago.
Hit reaction is good, they nail it once you do a finishing kill and you continue killing without getting hit, but if you lose that "kill meter" it will go away, unless enemies are weak and you got some nasty good weapon to deal some damage with. But overal its very nice, though some enemies are immune which was the big Uruk-Hai's, not all of them but the ones with two handed weapons.
The hud needs alot of work as well as companion interactivity with the whole equipment and such.
I hear the game is fun during online co-op but I havent tried it, and wont (Xbox Live+pay for me is a no no lol).
I dont like the music, coming from a LOTR movie the music IMO sucks. Its not Skyrim or Lair, but then again the composer is Inon Zur so I really dislike his work. Music sounds like its from Dragon Age, another game were music is meh.
Overal I would say its the best LOTR game I have ever played so far and as a LOTR fan I am happy with it and its not movie-based so thats a plus for me.
Rent it if possible.
Sorry for the long post, but you asked ;)
Ask any specfic thing if you want, but do so on a LOTR thread if you find or PM me :)

Clunky...yeah I can see that, there is some clunkyness to it, but its not THAT big of an issue from other games I played. Its manageable.
Ah well.
Anyway, not that I want to stay off topic, but I do think WitN looks decent. If not for Skyrim I may have bitten the bullet and gone for it, but my fantasy needs have been satisfied for now - I still await for an Elder Scrolls-styled Lord of the rings game though. :(
I could get it for Christmas, but I don't really want too many games for the holidays and Arkham City awaits.

If you are hooked on Skyrim, which you obviously are, smart decision by not getting the game, finish it and just get it when you have the time and space.
Anyway, just fought Alduin at the Throat of the World. Was a bit worried that that was going to be it for the main quest but luckily it wasn't. :P

I'm not even sure why they're bothering to fix it.

I can't pretend I have these problems if I don't actually have them.
