a bunch of people from xbox-scene.com forums were saying that some GRAW dev stated that the demo would be out a week before release, which would put the demo out tomorrow, which would be AWESOME

I finally got a harddisk for my 360 and still have that 1 month free Live trial, so I figured I'd put it to good use and download some demo's allready!!

Wow... that Quake4 demo really sucks!!
I get almost constant framedrops(if I'd have to guess, I'd say 25 fps or so)
It's more like I get an occasional "framejump" rather than an occasional 'framedrop'...
Am I the only one getting these framedrops, surely this can't be normal?
Full auto is pretty fun actually, slight framedrops here and there ,but certainly playable.
And then FNR3, that game is really fun, can't wait for this one to hit the shelves!!
Let's hope that GRAW demo goes online tomorrow!!!:D

Quake 4 is notorious for frame drops (even won an award for it. It was bad on my PC and on the 360, yo;re not alone mate.

I thought the Quake Demo was quite good, did notice frame drops here and there but I was enjoying the game too much to get annoyed with it.

Oh and Jato, if your gold subscription runs out, you can still download demos with the silver account.

I have to say downloading free game demos is such a brilliant feature, and it’s good to see that there’s a steady pace of games being put onto marketplace to try out.

E3 should be especially good this year, as I’m hoping that a lot of companies will be releasing their demos onto live for us consumers to give a run through.

Mayby for someone that didn't play the PC version the Xbox 360 demo of Quake might seem pretty good. I played the game on my PC with 6800gt and i looked better and also ran way smoother aswell.

Quake IV really was a horrible port . . .... the worst ppl, the worst ;))

But are the framedrops as bad as I describe on your 360 too(in 720p)?
I say this cause I have some weird framedrop issues with COD2 that appearantly nobody else gets...
I tried everything that could possibly cause these framedrops(don't even ask)but nothing helps:(
Eventually I just moved on and accepted this as an one off weird thing..
But if I'm getting this with more games now, I'm starting to get worried.....

Oh man, if I also get these weird framedrops when GRAW comes out, that 360 better have wings!!! :D

They said one week before release and release is 10 March. Wich is on a FRIDAY and today it's THURSDAY so don't expect it up before tomorrow.
