Driftwood @reneyvane: on aurait bien voulu mais on a jamais eu de réponse à notre demande de code malgré le formulaire rempli. Même pas un "non désolé", ce qui est toujours très pro comme façon de faire. (il y a 1 Jour)

Yous remember Timeshift? It was originally slated to show up on the original Xbox a couple years ago, then the dev/pub decided to make the jump to Xbox 360. Unfortunately, in it's previous state, the game certainly did not look like a next-gen effort. So thank goodness the devs went back to the drawing board and came up with something a bit more fitting. The photos above say it all.
By way of comparison, here is a pic of how Timeshift originally looked after it was ported to Xbox 360.
Not bad looking, but decidedly last-gen and certainly not in the same league as Gears of War, Mass Effect or Alan Wake. The original rev of Timeshift on 360 was definitely little more than a hi-def version of a Xbox game. Of course that is one of the really nice things about the original Xbox, even by today's standards, the graphics when the machine was pushed (Panzer Dragoon Orta, Riddick, Doom 3, Chaos Theory), still hold up very well and are easy on the eyes.
Anyway, the new and improved version of Timeshift is due out this year. It may be a few years late, but when the upgrade is this significant, it looks like it may indeed have been worth waiting for.

does look a lot more improved than it did last year, so that's a good thing.

If you ask me, it looks like Dyack did learn a lot from these guys.
BIG difference now though. The Timeshift mechanic was interesting in parts, be nice to see what they've done here.
Wonder if Denis Quaid and Michael Ironside are still in it and if they've redone their avatars....
I wonder if the upgrade had any affect on that aspect of the game.
It definitely looks better though.

It was also stupidly hard in parts, the demo was a pretty good reflection of what the game was actually like at that stage.
I'd be surprised if Vivendi hadn't gone the whole hog with the revamp having delayed it this long.
The weapons was so clunky design and weird that I had no feeling if it was a weapon =S.
The graphics on the game...well obviously it has improved and all...I like the textures on the stones when it is raining, really PDZ-ish.
But as for the game, I am avoiding it.

Look dude, if you want to start a Too Human/Dennis Dyack hate thread, then do it on your own time - go start your own thread. Just don't sully this thread with your negativitiy and cynicism. I came here to post some positive news about a game that many of us thought was a no-show. And that is how I would like to keep things. If you want to complain about Dyack, you are always free to start an entire thread doing just that - but please don't bring that monkey here.
Thanks.
