Using PS4 on a curved screen tv

I have a 55" Samsung UHD curved screen tv and have a slight issue with PS4. No matter what i try the pic output from the console doesnt fill the screen completely.. leaving a small black border all around the edge. My X1 has no issues and fills the screen exactly how it should.. both hdmi inputs are mirrored so the tv settings are the same on each.
On PS4 settings menu the video display area will not increase anymore.. so im baffled as to why it wont "screen fit"
If anyone is using a curved screen could you please leave feedback if this happens on your set too or if theres a setting im overlooking.

You just need to zoom-in on the screen display on your setting. Go to Sound and Screen setting, then go to Display Area Settings, there you can zoom in/out your display.

Does this happen only on curved TV screens on the specific console? or could it be the brand of the curved TV?
