Since 7775 DaysSony finançait une nouvelle licence prévue pour 2030 qui devait aussi faire l'objet d'un film sur grand écran, quid de l'état d'avancement du jeu, quand le studio et Kojima lui-même sont sur X projets. Le tournage du film devrait avoir lieu fin 2026, le producteur ayant toujours insisté sur le fait que c'était sa création et qu'il voulait participer pleinement au choix.
Pour moi, Sony et Kojima-Production ont perdu l'un pour l'autre de l'importance, Sony finançait un jeu lointain dont le film alors qu'il n'y avait aucune garantie de succès, le studio étaient de moins en moins concentré sur des projets Playstation. Microsoft a eu l'occasion de faire le buzz et de glaner un partenariat avec un studio nippon, c'est bon pour l'image, tant que Kojima ne vend pas au GAFAM ou ils se feront dépecer.
