The Ultimate edition of Forza Horizon 5 will be available tomorrow but the standard edition won't be before November 9. Thankfully, we were given a head's start as we were sent a code about a week ago. This time we didn't have the time to make an English video review and we preferred to take a close look at all the different versions we were able to play (basically all except for the Xbox Series S one) and tell you about it in a dedicated video. Hopefully, you'll appreciate the effort.
A new addition will soon join the Nintendo Switch lineup. The Nintendo Switch (OLED model) will be released on October 8 and will feature a 7-inch screen. The new Nintendo Switch model also includes a large adjustable stand, a dock with an Ethernet port and 64GB of internal memory.
Accessories were also present during this Nacon Connect, with the Nacon RIG 500 PRO HS GEN 2 headset for PS5, but also the NACON Revolution X Pro Controller scheduled for fall 2021. With an Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One or PC, the Revolution X includes a wide range of manual and software customization options, as well as Dolby Atmos headset support.
Today, during the Sonic Central, SEGA unveiled Sonic Colors: Ultimate, a remastered version of the platformer released in 2010, Sonic Colors. Developed by Blind Squirrel Entertainment, the game is set to release on September 7, 2021 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. As a bonus, discover a teaser of the next Sonic Team game to be released in 2022.
Xbox Series X and S do not only have the FPS Boost mode to brag about, they also feature an auto-HDR mode which works with a selection of games. We have recorded a bunch of them taken from the libraries of the first Xbox, the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One. We've decided not to add the titles of the different games so you can try and guess which ones are featured in our 20-minute long video. Astro's Playroom is the first Playstation 5 we tried when we received the console, so it is only normal that it would be our first review on Sony's new console, even though it's completely free. Inside you will find our verdict along with a gameplay video showing tiny bits of the game. Our Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales review is in the making but we've had to reencode our video review and it's taking forever (more than 25 minutes in 4K) so be patient.
Yesterday, Sony announced the launch date of both PlayStation 5 models. With a price set at $399 for the Digital Edition and $499 for the standard version that includes a 4K Blu Ray disc drive, the consoles will launch In North America, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea on November 12th and in most of other territories including Europe on November 19th. The first-party games available at launch are: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, Sackboy A Big Adventure, Destruction AllStars and Astro’s Playroom (pre-installed). Another news from Sony was a new benefit for PS Plus members on PS5 with the PlayStation Plus Collection, a selection of PS4 hit titles available to download at launch.
